Beloved of All
Your faithful care for your father through nearly two years of being bedridden after a stroke is seen by the Lord, and we join you in bringing him and your whole family before the Father in the name of Jesus.
We come to the Father directly through Jesus, because Jesus has opened that way for us. He came from the Father and He reveals the Father to us. To see Jesus is to see the Father's heart. What Jesus says are the Father's words and what Jesus does are the Father's works, for the Father dwells in Him and does the works through Him. All of the love He showed, all of the healing of sick bodies and mending of broken lives, is the work of the Father. That is why we honor the Son just as we honor the Father, and why we pray in the name of the Son, trusting that the Father Himself loves you because you have loved His Son and believed that He came from God.
We do not always understand healing. Scripture shows us that sometimes healing was immediate and sometimes it was gradual, with restoration coming step by step. There is much we do not understand about why some are healed quickly and others walk a long road of recovery. But we do believe that every true healing process is from God, who created our bodies and established the ways they recover. Whether healing comes in a moment or through medicine, therapy, and time, it is still His work. Jesus lived in perfect harmony with the Father, seeking not His own will but the will of the Father who sent Him. In that same spirit we ask for your father's healing according to the Father's perfect will and timing.
So we pray to our Holy Father to keep you and to heal. We ask Him in Jesus name to touch your father's brain and nervous system, to restore movement, reflexes and senses, to steady blood pressure and all vital signs, and to give strength to eat, to speak and to walk again. We ask Him to cure infection, to heal bed sores, and to bring complete restoration as He wills. We ask Him to give wisdom and skill to every doctor, nurse and therapist who cares for him, for their knowledge and care are gifts from God.
We also pray for forgiveness and mercy. Forgiveness comes through Jesus alone, who was sent to be the way to the Father. There is no other way. When we acknowledge the Son, we have the Father also, and through faith in Christ our sins are forgiven and we are brought near to God.
For your home and family, we ask the Father to keep you through His own name. You do not need to fear any curse or witchcraft or dark power, and you do not need another mediator. In Christ you have direct access to the Father, and Christ has all authority over darkness. The one who is in Christ is kept by Him, and no power of evil can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. We ask the Father to sanctify your home by His presence, to guard your family, and to fill you with His mercy, peace and protection.
We will continue to hold your father and your family before the Father, asking that you will know His comfort, His keeping power, and His love shown to us in Jesus, and that His will be done in your father's body and in your home.
