We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for so many years after a brain stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this precious body in its mother’s womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every heartbeat. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we ask for complete restoration—neuro pathways mended, movement returned, speech clear and strong, and all vitals regulated to perfect balance.
We pray against every infection, seizure, and bedsore, declaring Psalm 103:3 over this situation: "Who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Father, grant wisdom and skill to every doctor, therapist, and caregiver involved in this recovery. Let their hands be guided by Your Spirit, and may they see breakthroughs that defy medical expectations. Strengthen this beloved one to eat, talk, and walk again, not by human effort alone, but by Your miraculous touch.
We also bring before You the spiritual battles surrounding this family. The mention of black magic, curses, and witchcraft grieves our hearts, for we know these are not of You. Scripture is clear in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that such practices are detestable to the Lord. We rebuke every demonic assignment in Jesus’ name and declare the protection of Psalm 91: "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." No weapon formed against this family will prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we ask for forgiveness of sins—both known and unknown—for this dear one and his family. Cleanse them with the blood of Jesus, and fill their home with Your peace and presence. Let this trial draw them closer to You, not push them away. We pray for endurance for the caregivers, that they would not grow weary in doing good, knowing their labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Most of all, we pray that this family would come to know You, Jesus, as their personal Lord and Savior if they haven’t already. There is no healing—physical, emotional, or spiritual—apart from You. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We ask that this season of suffering would lead them to the foot of the cross, where true healing begins.
Lord, we trust You for a miracle. Whether it comes through medicine, therapy, or a sudden move of Your hand, we will give You all the glory. Strengthen this family’s faith, and let them see Your goodness in the land of the living. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
