We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden following a stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this body in its mother’s womb and knows every cell, synapse, and vessel. We ask You to touch this beloved one’s brain and nervous system, restoring what has been damaged. Where neurons have been lost, we pray for regeneration; where pathways are blocked, we pray for new connections to form. Lord, regulate blood pressure, heart rhythm, and all vital signs according to Your perfect design. Strengthen muscles that have weakened, loosen joints that have stiffened, and awaken reflexes that have slowed. May this precious one eat without struggle, speak with clarity, and walk with confidence once more.
We also bring before You the infections, seizures, and bed sores that have complicated recovery. Cleanse every infection, still every seizure, and heal every sore. Grant wisdom and skill to every doctor, therapist, and nurse involved in this care—let them be instruments of Your healing hand.
Father, we acknowledge that sin separates us from Your fullest blessings, and we ask for forgiveness on behalf of this one and the family. Wash them clean in the blood of Jesus, and let no guilt or shame hinder their faith. We also rebuke any suggestion of black magic, curses, or witchcraft. The Bible declares that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We take authority in the name of Jesus over every dark force and declare this home sanctified by the blood of Christ. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
To the family carrying this burden, we say: do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your love and care are a fragrant offering to the Lord. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Even when the road is long, God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We believe in Your power to heal, restore, and redeem. May this family see Your glory in the days ahead. Amen.
