We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering after a stroke. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mothers’ wombs and knows every fiber of our being. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this beloved individual. Restore what has been broken—strengthen weakened limbs, clear the pathways of the brain, and bring full restoration to speech, movement, and all bodily functions. We declare that by Your stripes, healing is possible, for Isaiah 53:5 tells us, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."*
Lord, we pray for the regulation of blood pressure and all vital signs, that they would stabilize according to Your perfect design. Grant wisdom and skill to the medical team attending to him, that they may be guided by Your Spirit in every decision. We also ask for Your protection over his body—heal infections, soothe bed sores, and guard him from further complications. Strengthen his family as they walk this difficult path, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We take authority in the name of Jesus over any spiritual attacks or influences of darkness that may be seeking to hinder this healing. The Bible is clear in James 4:7: *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We rebuke every curse, spell, or work of witchcraft in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Galatians 3:13, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.'"*
Father, we also ask for forgiveness of sins, for we know that unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). We pray that this dear one would experience Your mercy and grace, drawing near to You in repentance and faith. Surround this family with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them.
We trust in Your perfect will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Whether You choose to heal instantly or through the process of time, we ask for patience, endurance, and unwavering faith. May this trial draw them all closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your strength.
Lord, we thank You for the promise of Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over this situation, believing that nothing is too hard for You. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
