We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this beloved body in the womb and knows every cell, every synapse, every fiber of their being. We declare Your Word over them: "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). We ask for complete restoration—movement where there is stillness, strength where there is weakness, speech where there is silence.
Lord, regulate their blood pressure and all vital signs according to Your perfect design. Strengthen their muscles, restore their reflexes, and heal every infection and bedsore. We pray for the medical team attending to them—that You would grant them supernatural wisdom, skill, and compassion as they work toward recovery. May every therapy, every treatment, be guided by Your hand.
We also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. Father, we rebuke any claim of black magic, curses, or witchcraft over this family. The Bible is clear: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that Jesus’ blood has broken every chain, and we stand on the truth that "the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). We pray for the sanctification of this home, that it would be a place of peace, light, and Your presence.
We ask for forgiveness of sins—for this dear one and for their family—knowing that "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us" (1 John 1:9). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw them closer to You in this trial. Provide for every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and surround them with Your angels for protection.
Above all, we pray that this suffering would not be in vain. Use this season to draw hearts to Christ, to refine faith like gold, and to display Your glory through healing. Whether You choose to restore this one fully in this life or to call them home to be with You, we trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
