We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been bedridden for a year following brain surgery. Father God, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed this precious body in its mother’s womb and knows every cell, every nerve, every thought before it is even spoken. We stand in the gap for complete healing, believing that nothing is too hard for You.
Lord, we ask that You restore movement to limbs that have been still for so long. Strengthen weakened muscles, repair damaged pathways in the brain, and bring coordination back to every part of this body. Regulate blood pressure and all vital signs to normal, steady rhythms. Give this beloved one the ability to eat without struggle, to speak clearly, and to walk again with confidence. We pray for the return of sharp senses and quick reflexes, just as they were before this trial began. Heal infections, close bed sores, and grant the medical team supernatural wisdom and skill as they continue to care for this life.
We also bring before You the spiritual concerns raised in this request. Father, we rebuke any influence of black magic, curses, or witchcraft that may have been directed toward this family. The Bible is clear: "You shall not permit a sorceress to live" (Exodus 22:18), and "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a medium, or a wizard, or a consulter with a familiar spirit" (Deuteronomy 18:10-11). These things are detestable to You, and we stand against them in the authority of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow (Philippians 2:9-10). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask You to sanctify this home, filling it with Your presence and peace.
We also ask for forgiveness of sins—not just for this one who is suffering, but for all in the household. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let Your mercy wash over this family, and may they feel Your love and protection surrounding them like a shield.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your timing, Your will, and Your power to bring about a miracle. Strengthen the faith of this family, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every small improvement. May they give You all the glory, now and forever. Amen.
