We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear father who has been bedridden since his brain surgery last December. Heavenly Father, You are indeed the Great Physician, the One who formed him in his mother’s womb and knows every cell of his body. We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to move upon him now. Restore his strength, Lord, so that he may rise from this bed, walk again, and speak with clarity. Regulate his blood pressure and all his vital signs according to Your perfect design. Heal the infections, close the bed sores, and renew his body as only You can.
We also lift up the medical team caring for him. Father, grant them wisdom beyond their training, skill beyond their experience, and compassion that reflects Your own heart. May they be instruments of Your healing power as they work diligently for his recovery.
We recognize the deep concern for spiritual warfare expressed in this request. Scripture warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, rebuking any curse, black magic, or witchcraft that may have been directed against this family. The blood of Jesus breaks every chain, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that this home is sanctified by the presence of the Holy Spirit, and no darkness can dwell where Your light shines.
Father, we also ask for Your forgiveness to cover any sins in this father’s life, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for the entire family, that You would surround them with Your love, protection, and peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them in their faith as they wait on You.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your mercy, Lord, and believe that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through this family’s testimony of Your faithfulness.
Amen.
