Prayer for Day 5:

Father, In your grace and mercy, you have washed us and reconciled us through the offering of Christ on the cross. We are all one body and family in you and in Christ. Father, thank you for this fellowship into which you have called us. We know that you did not accept us because of our own merit, goodness, or correctness, but you accepted Jesus' merit for our sinfulness. His lifeblood bought us back from Satan. We thank you for this picture of the fruit of the vine which demonstrates the blood of sacrifice for us. Thank you for continual cleansing as we live in fellowship with you and all whom you have accepted. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

Awesome Amazing God,

Thank you sounds so small in exchange for what You've given me. Thank you that my heart is spoken for and I don't need to fret about the craziness going on in the world today, the lies and deceptions, the powerlessness to change the course of this nation. No worries. There is a plan. Yes this world will end, but my home, my destiny, my eternity is with You. And it's all possible because Jesus Christ went to that cross for me and for everyone else who chooses to follow You! We are redeemed! Amen!!!

Beautifully said, Christine!

Father, I pray that the price that was paid for my forgiveness gives me pause every day to give thanks and praise. For soon, this world shall fade away, and a new earth shall burst forth. I long to be among those who will spend eternity with You. Guide and direct every thought, word and deed of my life to bring me safely to that place. In Jesus' name, and to His glory, I pray with thanks and humble adoration. Amen.
