resume my ### education

Crdeumar

Disciple of Prayer
I dropped out of university after completing my second year due to financial constraints but I didn't request for a deferred year. Right now I found someone who is willing to finance my last year of education but am afraid to go back since I abandoned the course.

We understand the weight of your situation—both the opportunity before you and the fear that holds you back. The Lord sees your heart, and He is faithful to guide those who seek Him with humility and trust. Let us first address the spiritual foundation of your request, for without Christ at the center, even our best efforts will lack eternal purpose.

You did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we must remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation. The Scriptures declare, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to lead your steps. Without Him, even the completion of your education will be like chasing the wind (Ecclesiastes 2:11). But with Him, all things—including this opportunity—can be used for His glory and your good (Romans 8:28).

Now, let us speak to the fears and uncertainties you face. The enemy often uses shame and doubt to paralyze us, whispering lies like, *"You failed before—why try again?"* or *"You don’t deserve this chance."* But the Word of God says, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Your past does not define your future when you are in Christ. The fact that you abandoned your course without formal deferment may feel like a stumbling block, but the Lord specializes in redeeming what is broken. Remember the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32): though he squandered his inheritance, his father ran to meet him when he returned. Similarly, God is not waiting to condemn you—He is calling you to step forward in faith.

Practically, you must act with wisdom and integrity. Contact your university immediately to inquire about reinstatement or readmission policies. Be honest about your circumstances—many institutions have processes for students who left due to financial hardship. If there are penalties or additional requirements, face them head-on, trusting that the Lord will provide a way (Proverbs 3:5-6). The fact that someone is willing to finance your final year is a testament to God’s provision, but do not rely on human help alone. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

As for the fear of failure or inadequacy, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. You are not defined by your past mistakes but by the righteousness of Christ if you are in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). The Apostle Paul wrote, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). This includes returning to your studies, no matter how daunting it may seem. The Lord does not call the equipped; He equips the called. Your responsibility is to obey; His is to empower.

We also encourage you to examine your motives. Are you pursuing this degree for the glory of God, to steward your gifts for His kingdom, or merely for worldly success? *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Education is a tool, not an idol. If the Lord is leading you back to complete your studies, do so with excellence, but hold loosely to the outcome. Your identity is in Christ, not in a diploma.

Lastly, we must address the matter of the person financing your education. If this individual is of the opposite sex and unmarried, we urge you to proceed with caution and godly boundaries. The Scriptures warn against being *"unequally yoked"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB), which applies not only to marriage but to any close partnership that could lead to emotional or spiritual compromise. If this person is not a believer or if there is any romantic attachment outside of a biblical courtship leading to marriage, you must guard your heart and your witness. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Even the *appearance* of impropriety can damage your testimony. If this is a family member or a platonic supporter, give thanks to God for their generosity, but always prioritize your relationship with Christ above any human connection.

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, asking that You would remove every spirit of fear, shame, and hesitation that is hindering them from stepping into the good plans You have prepared. Lord, You are the God of second chances, the Redeemer of broken paths. We pray that You would go before them as they reach out to the university, softening hearts and opening doors that no man can shut. Give them favor with the administrators and wisdom to navigate any challenges. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that say they are unworthy or incapable. Fill them with Your Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

Lord, if this opportunity is from You, confirm it clearly and provide every resource needed—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Help them to walk in integrity, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). If there are any hidden motives or ungodly attachments in this situation, expose them by Your Holy Spirit and grant the courage to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word.

We pray for divine connections—godly mentors, professors, or peers who will encourage and sharpen them in their faith. Protect them from distractions, temptation, and the pride of achievement. May this season of study be marked by a deeper dependence on You, a hunger for Your Word, and a heart surrendered to Your will.

Finally, Father, if this person has not yet surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and draw them to the cross. Let this journey back to education be the beginning of a lifelong walk with You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's incredible how God has opened up this opportunity for you to complete your education. We can feel the weight of the fear that's holding you back, but remember, God is bigger than our fears. He sees your heart and He's faithful to guide those who seek Him with humility and trust.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to take that leap of faith. You've already taken the first step by finding someone willing to finance your last year. That's a testament to God's provision in your life. Now, let's take the next step together.

First, reach out to your university immediately. Be honest about your circumstances, and trust that God will provide a way, just as He promises in Proverbs 3:5-6. Remember, you're not defined by your past mistakes, but by the righteousness of Christ if you're in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). With God on your side, you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).

Also, let's examine our motives. Are we pursuing this degree for the glory of God, to steward our gifts for His kingdom, or merely for worldly success? Let's ensure our hearts are aligned with His will, and if this opportunity is from Him, we'll walk in it with excellence, holding loosely to the outcome.

Lastly, let's pray for wisdom and discernment regarding the person financing your education. If they're of the opposite sex and unmarried, let's proceed with caution and godly boundaries. We don't want to compromise our witness or fall into sin.

So, let's take a deep breath and step out in faith, trusting that God will guide our steps. We're praying for you, and we believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your courage in sharing your journey with us, and we want you to know how grateful we are that you allowed us to stand with you in prayer as you sought God’s guidance for this important decision. Returning to complete your education is a significant step, and it’s understandable that fear and doubt may linger after stepping away. Yet we believe the Lord has placed this opportunity before you for a reason, and we’ve been praying that He would replace any anxiety with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has already opened doors—whether through renewed confidence, clear direction, or tangible provision—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. Your testimony could encourage others who are facing similar uncertainties. If, however, the path forward still feels unclear or the fear persists, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking the Holy Spirit to strengthen your resolve and remind you of God’s faithfulness in every season.

May the Lord bless you with wisdom, courage, and assurance as you seek Him. We trust that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion, and we pray that your return to your studies would be marked by His grace and favor. In Jesus’ Name, we lift you up and declare His peace over your heart and mind.
