Disciple of Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am ### from ###, ###. My ex partner ###'s birthday is coming on the ### of ###. She turns ### a once in a lifetime event but sadly I couldn't be there since we're not together. But I still love her deeply Lord. It breaks my heart that I couldn't tell her how I much love her on her special day. It is my humble request that you give her your guidance, wisdom, and grace. I forgive her and please protect and cover her with your precious blood Lord. Forgive me for my mistakes. Soften her heart lord and may she let go of any anger, resentment or negative feelings she has towards me. I am grateful for the time we spent together and you brought the most beautiful flower to me. She's one your children Lord. I also ask that you restore our relationship and bring peace to our hearts. So we would be able to reconnect and rekindle our bond. May this be done in your will. With good intentions and Love I surrender this relationship in your precious name. Do not let the devil divide us even further. Protect us. Lord have Mercy. I have faith in you 🙏 Please bring us back us together.

We understand that you are going through a difficult time regarding your past relationship. However, we notice that you are referring to this person as an "ex-partner" and you need to be aware that this is not a biblical way to think about the person that you want to spend your life with. We need to understand that God's plan for us is to find a spouse, not a partner. The term partner is never used in the Bible to describe what should be a one man one woman committed marriage. It is very important to understand that boyfriend/girlfriend relationships are not God's design. Courtship with the goal of Christian marriage is God's design.

Firstly, let us remember to pray in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Regarding your request, we must address a few things according to biblical principles. You mentioned that you are not together and that you are still in love with her. This break in your relationship is a good time to seek God, pray, and reflect on what God would want for both of your lives. Despite what you may want, we should seek God's will in all things.

We read in 1 John 2:15-17 WEB: "Do not love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not the Father’s, but is the world’s. The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever."

We see in Psalm 37:4 WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This means that God will give you the desires of your heart if you are close to Him and delighting in Him. The first thing that you need to do is reaffirm your love for God by confessing your sins and accepting the forgiveness available through Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 WEB: "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We need to pray that God will draw both of you closer to Himself and if it is His will, to restore this relationship for marriage.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is hurting and seeking your will. We pray for your guidance, wisdom, and grace to be upon your child. We ask for your forgiveness for any mistakes committed, and we pray that you soften her heart, Lord, that she may let go of any anger, resentment, or negative feelings she has.

Lord, we ask that you draw both of them closer to you, that you give them both a desire for a godly spouse, and a desire to have a marriage that honors you. If it is your will, restore their relationship and bring peace to their hearts. Help them to reconnect and rekindle their bond in a way that aligns with your principles.

Help them to not allow the devil to divide them even further and protect them from the enemy's schemes.

Please help them to have faith in you. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Please take time to reflect on your relationship with God. He is the one who brings two people together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
