Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me and my boyfriend ###, recently he is not happy because i am not follow his investment plan. He suddenly stop talking to me and I hope he finally release love relationship not only money is real love. Hope he can find me again and really see me in person. Also I am eager him to believe God soon; I am really hope our relationship have God in center. Also I wish GOD protect him everyday.

We have heard your heart for this relationship and we join you in bringing it before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand your sadness that your boyfriend has stopped talking to you because you did not follow his investment plan, and your deep desire that he would value love over money, that he would seek you again and see you in person, and most of all that he would come to believe in God and that your relationship would have God at the center.

We want to gently and lovingly speak truth to you about what God says regarding love, money, and relationships. True love as God defines it is not conditional on money or financial obedience. We are reminded that love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, love does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. When affection is withdrawn or silence is used as punishment because you did not follow a financial plan, that is not reflecting this kind of love, and it is right for you to desire a love that is not rooted in money.

Scripture warns us about the danger of making money the center. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil in 1 Timothy 6:10 and no one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Mammon in Matthew 6:24. We encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel before following any investment plan, especially one that is pressured upon you within a relationship. Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed in Proverbs 15:22. A man who truly loves you will respect your conscience and your boundaries and will not coerce you financially.

We also hear your desire for God to be in the center of your relationship, and this is beautiful and right, but we want to encourage you to think biblically about what this means. In God's design, a relationship between a man and a woman is courtship with the goal of marriage, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman that honors God. We pray you are pursuing purity in this courtship, for marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers in Hebrews 13:4. Any sexual intimacy before or outside of marriage is fornication and not God's will for you, and we encourage you to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to keep yourselves pure as you discern marriage.

This also means we must speak about being equally yoked. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have in 2 Corinthians 6:14. Your longing for him to believe in God is good, but Scripture teaches us not to enter or to continue toward marriage with someone who does not yet know Christ, hoping he will change later. We encourage you to make his salvation your primary prayer, but to also ask God for discernment whether this relationship should continue toward marriage if he remains an unbeliever. Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight in Proverbs 3:5-6.

We noticed you spoke of God but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that anyone can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To believe in God in a saving way is to repent of sin and put your faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. We pray both you and your boyfriend will rest fully in Him.

So we pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We lift up this dear sister and her boyfriend to You. Lord, You know the hurt of silence and the confusion over money and love. We ask that You heal her heart, give her peace that surpasses understanding, and grant her wisdom and discernment. Show her clearly whether this man is seeking a godly marriage with her or whether his heart is driven by control or love of money. We pray You would convict him where he has not shown Christlike love, and soften his heart. Above all, Lord, we pray for his salvation, that he would truly believe in Jesus Christ, repent, and be born again, and that You would protect him each day and draw him to Yourself. If it is Your will, restore communication between them in a healthy and honest way, and help them to see each other in person only in a manner that honors You and keeps them pure. But above restoration, we pray Your will be done, and that You would be the center of her life, whether this relationship continues toward a godly marriage or not. Help her to wait on You, to guard her heart, and to seek wise counsel. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. Being met with silence after a disagreement about money is painful, especially when you long to be seen and valued for who you are, not for whether you follow an investment plan.

It is understandable to hope he will reach out and to want God at the center, including his coming to faith. At the same time, his stepping away is telling you something about how he is handling disappointment, and steady love will need to be able to talk through differences without withdrawing or pressuring.

One gentle next step we would encourage is to give this some breathing room while you seek wisdom close to you. Talk with a trusted pastor or mature believing friend who knows you, and be clear with yourself and with him about your boundaries around finances. It is wise to keep money decisions separate and unpressured. Continue to pray for him, but let your care for his faith be without pressure to change him.

We are holding you in prayer for peace and clarity in the days ahead.

Father, we bring our sister before You and we bring ### before You. You see her longing to be loved well and her desire for You to be known. Give her wisdom, comfort and clear direction for what is next, and draw ### to Yourself in Your kindness. Keep them both in Your care and lead them according to Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your request has been heard with tenderness and we have carried it before the Lord who hears the cries of the burdened heart. You speak of a sorrow that love seems to be measured by money, of silence where there was once communion, of a longing that God Himself might be the center, and of a desire for the soul of one who does not yet know Him. These are weighty matters, and they call us not merely to ask for the easing of pain, but to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

We must speak plainly and in love concerning the way of the Lord. True love is not found in investment plans nor in gain, and it is never to be compelled by pressure or by silence. The Word teaches us that our peace is to be in believing, that when a man has believed in Christ and found rest in Him he can say, He is all my salvation and all my desire. Until Christ has room in the heart, there is no room for true and lasting love between any two souls. As it has been said, there is often little room for Christ in the inn of our lives, in our conversation, in our plans and pursuits. To have God in the center is to give Him the best chamber of the heart, to store up the things of Christ not merely in the brain to make us orthodox, but in the heart to bring us salvation. Christ in you is the hope of glory, and where He dwells there is light and health and strength for the soul.

Therefore we do not ask the Lord simply to restore a bond as it was, nor to bless a path that is not according to His holy design. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to the intimacy of love and life together belongs within that covenant. Outside it we are called to purity, to wisdom, to patience, and to trust. What we do ask is far greater. We ask that you may wholly and entirely trust yourself in the hands of Christ, that your eyes may see God's Salvation, which is Christ Himself, freely given, full and abiding, not a two penny salvation for a day, but a robe of righteousness wrought by His active obedience and His precious blood. For God never merely overlooks sin, but Jesus Christ the Substitute satisfies justice, and with one stroke of the pen gives a full receipt for all our debts. If you have seen that salvation, you may rejoice in its richness and in its certainty, for it is made on purpose for poor sinners such as we are.

We pray for you, that the Lord will keep you from being led by pressure or by fear, that He will give you wise and godly counsel concerning stewardship and concerning your future, and that you will be bound to Christ with that sweet bond of love which makes us unable to follow sin or folly because we are held by Him. We pray for this young man, that the Lord who is a good Protector even when the boat is tossed with waves and the wind is contrary will preserve his life, yet far more that he may be preserved in Christ. We pray that he may look upon Him whom he has pierced and mourn with true Spirit worked repentance, that he may believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, for there is salvation in no other. Him that comes to Christ He will in no wise cast out, and never was there a soul sent back for coming to Him by faith.

Seek the Lord while He may be found. Be empty of self and pride and carnal sufficiency, that Christ may dwell within. If it be the Lord's will to bring you together again in person and in peace, let it be upon that holy ground where Christ is first loved and obeyed by both, and where any future union would be pursued not as a mere affection of the moment but as a covenant before God, entered with counsel, with purity, and with prayer. If it be not His will, may He grant you that peace in believing which makes the soul glad even in disappointment, and that consolation in Christ which lifts you far above principalities and powers because you are risen in Him.

We have prayed that God will guard you both, that He will turn hearts to Himself, that He will grant you discernment to walk in holiness, and that whatever the outcome of this earthly affection, you may know the joy of salvation and be able to say with a sure heart, I have seen Thy salvation and I will rejoice therein.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and your sorrow is not overlooked. It is painful to be met with silence, especially when pressure over money has come between you and someone you care for, and it is right that you desire a love that is sincere and not driven by financial gain.

I want to pray for you and for him, and to point you to the greatest hope we have. Scripture teaches that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone, by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. This is the short and gracious way God has provided, and now is the day of salvation. My prayer is first for his soul, that he would come to know Christ truly and be washed from sin, and for your own walk with the Lord to be strengthened and comforted. God is the God of mercies who delivers us, and He hears those who call on Him in truth.

You asked that God would be in the center of your relationship. God is honored when He is at the center of our lives individually before any other relationship. His design for love between a man and a woman is marriage, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it is within that covenant that living together and sexual intimacy belong. A dating relationship is not marriage, and so I cannot ask God to bless it as if it were. Instead I will pray that God gives you both wisdom, purity, and clarity to seek His will above all else, and that any future steps toward marriage would be pursued in holiness, self control, and with counsel from mature believers.

True love, as Scripture shows, seeks the good of the other and does not use pressure or the demand for money as a condition for affection. The fact that he stopped speaking to you when you did not follow his investment plan is a serious concern that deserves careful and honest attention. Love that reflects Christ is gracious and kind and patient, not transactional.

So let me pray for you both in this way. Father, I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that you would have mercy on this young woman and give her peace, discernment, and strength to follow you with a whole heart. Guard her heart and mind, help her to seek wise counsel in your church, and to make decisions about finances with prudence and not under coercion. I ask that you protect this young man each day according to your mercy, but above all that you would draw him to salvation through faith in Christ alone, that he would know the forgiveness of sins and new life. Lead them both to walk in purity and truth, and let your perfect will be done in their lives, whether that means reconciliation in a way that honors you or a different path that leads to greater holiness. Give them both a deeper love for you first.

I encourage you to bring this situation to a trusted pastor or godly older women in your church, to share openly about the financial pressure and the silence, and to seek their guidance. Remain in prayer, remain in the Word, and continue to trust that God will provide for your needs and will crown those who seek Him with His goodness.
