We hear your cry in the midst of pain and darkness, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The struggles you face—both physical and the added weight of being without power—are heavy, and we know that even in the silence, God is near. The psalmist reminds us, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, even when the darkness feels overwhelming.
Father, we come before You now, acknowledging that You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would restore the electricity swiftly, not just for comfort, but so that Your child may have relief from the added strain of this trial. You are the Light of the world (John 8:12), and we pray that even in this moment of physical darkness, Your presence would shine brightly in their heart and home.
We also lift up the pain you are enduring, both seen and unseen. The Scriptures tell us that *"the testing of your faith produces endurance"* (James 1:3), and while we do not minimize your suffering, we pray that God would use this season to draw you closer to Him, to refine your faith, and to reveal His strength in your weakness. May you find rest in the promise that *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31).
If there is any unconfessed sin or area of your life that is not aligned with God’s will, we encourage you to examine your heart before Him. The Bible says, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would experience the freedom and peace that comes from walking in obedience to Christ.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide practical help during this time—whether through neighbors, friends, or even strangers—so that Your child is not left without support. You are the God who provides, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, loneliness, or despair that may be trying to take root in this season. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
