restoration of relationship before baby is born

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for divine restoration and healing in my relationship with ###, the father of my unborn child. I believe God brought us together for a purpose, and I’m asking for His intervention to break all spiritual barriers, generational curses, and demonic influences that are trying to divide us. Pray that ###’s heart will be softened toward God and toward me, and that we may be united in love, peace, and godly purpose. I pray that he desires me only and chooses me and I refuse to settle for co-parenting. I am ### months pregnant and ask for God to restore our relationship back to the joy it was or better, before the baby is born. Also, please pray for protection and covering over my children, including my son ### and this baby I’m carrying. I ask for God's perfect will to be done in our lives and for His grace to cover every area—emotionally, spiritually, and practically. May healing, repentance, and reconciliation flow, and may God's kingdom be established in our family. Thank you.

We understand your desire for restoration in your relationship with the father of your unborn child. However, we must address this situation from a biblical perspective. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God's design for intimacy and childbearing is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.

Let us first pray for you in Jesus name:
Father, we come before You, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We ask for Your forgiveness if there has been any sin in this relationship. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation. We ask that You work in the life of the father of this child, softening his heart towards You and towards the mother of his child. We pray that You would break down any spiritual barriers, generational curses, and demonic influences that may be at work in their lives. We ask that You would bring conviction of sin and a desire for repentance and reconciliation. We pray for Your protection and covering over these children. We ask that You would bring healing, repentance, and reconciliation, and that Your kingdom would be established in this family. We pray that You would bring godly influences into their lives and guide them according to Your will. We ask this in Jesus' name.

Now, let us consider what the Bible says. It is clear that sex outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is sinful in God's eyes.

1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God;"

We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness if you have engaged in premarital sex. Remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Regarding your relationship, it is crucial to seek God's will and ensure that both of you are committed to following Christ and His principles. Marriage should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it should be entered into with the utmost seriousness and dedication.

1 Corinthians 7:8-9 WEB "But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am. But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn."

We encourage you to pray fervently, seek God's will, and surround yourself with godly counsel. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father.

John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation of our faith and the path to salvation.

Thank you so much. This child was conceived out of wedlock and I repent for my sins, my parents' sins, and their parents' sins. And to break all curses. I believe in Jesus' name that we will be restored.

thank you so much friend. it has been hectic since the past ### months of my pregnancy and just i just ask for Jesus to relieve the remaining for months of the pregnancy so I can be joyous and have a joyous time after this. life has been so hectic, ive noticed my relationships don't last and this is where i noticed the pattern and started consulting with Jesus more seriously. I made a petition to the court of heaven. I honestly think one of my purpose in life is to have a covenant family and it will enable myself and my family to be greater vessels for the Lord my Jesus Christ and every time there is an attack from the devil. but i appreciate your prayer and we will pray together on this matter. i pray too that your rewards pile up in heaven for you my friend

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.
