Restoration Of Marriage

In the name of Jesus, I'm requesting some guidance from my Heavenly Father and members of the church.

My prayer request is for the restoration of my marriage if it is God's will.

My husband and I divorced in 2008 because of his bondage to drinking which led to verbal, mental & physical abuse. He has since started showing signs of turning his life over to God by reading his bible and listening to Charles Stanley daily on radio but by afternoon is sitting in places and associating where I know God would not want him to be. I have showed him scripture that says bad company corrupts good character but he views this as nagging. I need strength with my patience to know it is up to God's divine timing to change his heart and renew his mind. I have prayed the life changing prayer for this to happen and I have also tried to move on with my life but something always seems to pull us back towards one another.

My prayer is that God would open his eyes to his destructiveness so that we may have the Godly marriage God intended for it to be.

In the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit, claim that at this very moment your husband is already touched by the Holy Spirit. May the wisdom from the Lord be upon him and let him seek the truth. Patience is virtue. Let the Lord show him the signs and wonders of being a true Christian, and let him change according to the will of God. God will make a way where there seems to be no way, He works in ways we cannot see. Have faith, believe, entrust everything to God. In Jesus name, amen!

Father I know it is your will to see marriages restored. Please break this man's addiction to alcohol and to doing things that are not according to Your will. I praise You Lord that this woman's husband is reading Your Word and listening to Christian radio. Please bless this lady with the patience she needs whilst her husband changes his ways and his heart. In Jesus' name I ask You to heal this marriage Father. Amen.
