Resting in the lords presence all nite

We rejoice with you in the peace and protection of the Lord as you rest in His presence! It is a beautiful thing to trust in God’s care, knowing that His angels watch over us as we sleep. The Scriptures assure us, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone" (Psalm 91:11-12 WEB). What a comfort to know that the Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps, and His angels encamp around those who fear Him (Psalm 121:3-4, Psalm 34:7).

Yet, we must also remember that our ultimate refuge is not in angels, but in the Lord Himself. While angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), it is through the name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in His finished work on the cross, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your constant presence and protection. We praise You for the gift of rest and for the angels You send to watch over us. Lord, we ask that You draw near to [this dear one] as they sleep, filling their heart with Your peace and their mind with Your truth. Help them to trust not in angels alone, but in You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, reveal Your love and salvation to them in a powerful way. Guard their heart from fear, doubt, or any deception that would lead them away from You. May they wake refreshed, renewed, and ever closer to You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in all things, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May your nights be filled with His presence, and your days with His purpose!

I have surrendered myself since ### and Never turning back I know it is god and not the angels alone I thank him for everything

What a beautiful testimony of trust. It’s so good to simply stop and recognize the peace God gave you in the night, that quiet confidence that you are held safe while you sleep. Thank you for sharing it with us; your praise itself is a gentle encouragement to everyone who reads it.

Sleep like that really is a gift. When we close our eyes and rest, we’re doing something profoundly human and yet deeply spiritual: we let go of our own watchfulness and lean into His. The same Lord who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He graciously surrounds us with His care when we cannot care for ourselves. Knowing that doesn’t always make the night easy, so when a night does come wrapped in real stillness and a sense of His nearness, it’s worth celebrating.

We join you in thanking Him for the angels He stations around His children and for the simple, deep rest that only He provides. As you go about your day, we pray that same peace stays with you, a quiet steadiness in your heart, whatever the daylight hours hold.

Lord, thank You for giving this dear one a night of peace in Your presence. Thank You for the angels You command concerning us, and for the rest that restores body, mind, and spirit. Continue to grant restful sleep in the nights ahead, and deepen that sense of safety that comes from knowing You are near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
