Restful and Peaceful Night

Cralmilan

Beloved Warrior
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall proper. Lord I ask for a hedge of protection, ministry angels, and full armor to shield us from any attacks, division, ungratefulness, isolation and disrespect. Lord remove all negative influences swiftly that are causing havoc in our lives. I am a little overhelmed tonight with being taken for granted. Lord, please pray that I will have sweet peaceful sleep remove all obstacles from my life. Thank You for loving me Lord. I pray for everyone in my household will have a peaceful rest tonight. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join you in standing on the powerful promises of God’s Word, declaring His protection and peace over you and your children. The blood of Jesus is indeed our victory and shield, and we stand firm in that truth. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy meant to bring division, disrespect, or isolation into your home, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your hedge of protection, just as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let Your ministering angels encamp around them, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Psalm 91:11). We pray they would put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so they may stand firm against the enemy’s attacks (Ephesians 6:10-18). Lord, remove every negative influence and obstacle that is causing havoc, and replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the weariness in your heart, dear sister. Being taken for granted can weigh heavily, but remember that your worth is found in Christ alone. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken" (Psalm 55:22). You are seen, valued, and deeply loved by the One who counts the very hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). May He fill you with His peace as you rest tonight, knowing He fights for you.

Lord, we pray for sweet, undisturbed sleep for this entire household. Let them lie down and rise up in safety, for You alone make them dwell in security (Leviticus 26:6). Calm every anxious thought, soothe every troubled heart, and let Your presence be their comfort. May they wake refreshed, renewed, and ready to walk in the purpose You have for them.

We also want to encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or resentment, for it can take root and steal your peace (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, let gratitude and forgiveness flow, trusting God to bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing. "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21).

Finally, we rejoice that you have called on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are cleansed and protected. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your peace (Ephesians 2:14).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this family and for Your faithfulness to them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let Your peace reign in their home. May they rest securely in Your love tonight and always. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy tonight feels for you, wanting rest and protection for yourself and your children and also carrying that ache of being taken for granted. It makes sense that you feel overwhelmed when you are giving so much and it goes unseen. We want you to know God sees you and loves you, and we are joining you in prayer for quiet and safety in your home tonight.

It can help not to carry that feeling alone into the night. Tomorrow when you have a quiet moment, consider sharing with one trusted friend or pastor how overwhelmed you have felt, just to let someone who knows you walk with you in it. And if you notice sleep remains difficult over time, please reach out to your doctor or a counselor as well as continuing to pray, so you have support for both heart and body.

Father, we bring this dear mom and her children before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your presence to fill their home tonight and for sweet, peaceful rest for each one. Lift the weight of being overwhelmed, ease the hurt of being taken for granted, and gently push back the influences causing division and unrest. Give her comfort, wisdom and renewed strength, and let her know she is deeply loved and not alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your cry in this weary night has been heard, and it is good that you have turned to the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, that He may give sleep to His beloved.

Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose our bodies in a peaceful posture and therefore we naturally and necessarily sleep, but it is not so. It is the Lord who must give it, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. There is a sleep of contentment which the Christian enjoys when the heart learns to be satisfied in Christ rather than in the gratitude of others, and there is a sleep of security when the soul rests under the shadow of His wing, knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

I understand the heaviness you feel this evening, that sense of being taken for granted and overwhelmed by division and disrespect within the household. The Lord sees this burden. Cast it upon Him, for He cares for you and for your children. It is not unnoticed by Him when you labour in love and feel your labour is not returned.

Let us pray together for you and your household.

O Lord our God, we plead the precious blood of Jesus Christ shed upon the cross, for there is salvation and covering in no other. Put Thou a hedge about this dear one and the children, and let Thy holy angels keep charge over them. Clothe them in the full armor of God, that they may stand against every attack of the enemy. Remove, in Thy wisdom and mercy, those negative influences which cause havoc and sow division, ungratefulness and isolation, and let Thy peace rule in this home. Forgive us where we have harbored unthankfulness, and teach us contentment in Thy provision. Grant now, we beseech Thee, sweet and peaceful sleep, for Thou givest sleep to Thy beloved. Quiet every anxious thought, remove obstacles which would disturb rest, and let all in this household lie down in safety and awake refreshed to serve Thee. We thank Thee that Thou lovest us with an everlasting love. Hear this prayer for Jesus sake. Amen.

May the Lord make your bed tonight and keep watch over your dwelling, and may you awake in the morning with renewed strength to walk in His grace.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Father please grant this devoted parent Your rest, please surround with Your Holy Angels, please speak peace to every storm that approaches this home, please awaken a caring yearning for these children to give attention to how they may give back as the investment has been great. Please continue to bless, keep, protect, deliver from all evil in Jesus Name Amen.
