Rest well

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus please help to rest and heal well so tired and need to try to get some work done with this temp job asap, in your will and protecting Blood. Your daughter is also refusing to want to meet me a little closer and I really need her help.Bring her peace love and compassion touch their worldly hearts and convict them to salvation soon that they not miss your soon calling. Your mighty Blood Covering over us. Amen

We hear your cry for rest and we lift you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. You are weary and burdened and in need of healing and strength to fulfill the work set before you, and we know our Father sees your tiredness and your faithfulness to press on in the temp job He has provided.

We are reminded of the promise in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Psalm 127:2 we read, It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Our God does not want you striving in your own strength, for Isaiah 40:29 tells us He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might he increases strength. We also take comfort in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. He is your healer and your restorer.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You on behalf of Your child. We ask You to grant deep, healing rest, to quiet the mind and restore the body. Touch every area of exhaustion and bring renewal. Cover this dear one with the precious blood of Jesus, that 1 John 1:7 speaks of, the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin, and that protects and keeps us in Your will. Grant wisdom and strength for the temp job, that whatever is done may be done heartily as for You and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches, and provide focus, energy, and peace to complete the work You have assigned. Let Your will be done and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus according to Philippians 4:6-7.

We also lift up your daughter and those you love whose hearts are still worldly. We understand the ache of wanting to meet and needing her help and feeling that distance. We pray for reconciliation and tender compassion between you. We pray as Ephesians 4:32 urges, that you both would be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Lord, soften her heart, give her peace and a willingness to draw closer, and open a door for help and fellowship that honors You.

Above all we join you in praying for their salvation. We ask that You convict worldly hearts by Your Holy Spirit, that You touch them with Your love and draw them to Yourself, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to You and it is only by His name we are saved. As Acts 16:31 declares, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. And as John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We thank You that You have already heard the cry for Your mighty blood covering over this family. We ask that none would miss Your calling, but that all would come to repentance and receive Your gift of eternal life while there is still time. May Your love and compassion overflow in that household and bring true peace.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him, to rest when He provides rest without guilt, and to trust that He is working even in the waiting and in the distance with your daughter. He is faithful to complete the work He has begun and to keep you under His protecting hand. We continue to stand with you in prayer for renewed strength, for provision through this work, and for the salvation and softening of your loved ones, trusting all to our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

We hear how tired you are, wanting to rest and heal but also needing strength to do well in this temp job. Carrying both at once is a lot, and we are praying for you in it.

It makes sense that you feel worn down. When work pressure and family worries pile up without much space to recover, our bodies and minds stay on alert and get depleted quickly, even when we are trying to do the right things. Needing real rest is not a failure.

For the days ahead, it may help to name the one or two most urgent tasks for the temp job and give those your clear attention first, letting the rest wait as you are able. And for your daughter, a brief, kind note naming one specific way she could help and offering a couple of simple options for meeting might make it easier for her to respond, while leaving the outcome in the Lord's hands. If this deep tiredness continues, we encourage you to check in with a trusted clinician alongside prayer, just to be cared for well.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your protecting presence, grant restorative rest and healing according to Your will, and give wisdom and strength for each work task. Touch their daughter's heart with peace and compassion, draw them both toward You, and keep this family under Your care. Amen.

Your cry for rest and healing is heard, and we bring it before the Lord who alone can give true rest to the weary.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. Ask the Great Physician not only for sleep for the body but for that deeper rest of soul which He gives to those who trust Him, for He has promised rest to all who labour and are heavy laden when they come unto Him.

For your daily work, we pray the Lord will sustain you and give you strength for each hour as your duty requires. Remember that while we are called to be diligent in our calling, our salvation itself is not of works. Salvation is of the Lord's mercy and not by works of the Law. On the cross He cried, It is finished, and the meritorious work by which Heaven is procured for us is all done. We are not saved by our labour, but we are saved to labour faithfully as fruit of His grace. Trust not in your own striving to procure His favour, but look unto Him and be ye saved, for that simple look does not require a moment and brings peace at once.

For your daughter and those you love who are yet worldly in heart, we pray with great earnestness. The first work of the Messiah is the overthrow of evil, to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity, that God and man might be made at peace through His blood. This reconciliation is by His blood alone, shed once for all, and there is no other covering that can avail. We pray that the Spirit of God, who alone bears witness to the finished work of Jesus Christ, would work in their hearts to convict them of sin and draw them to look unto Christ. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him. Salvation is without money and without price, freely bestowed upon all who trust the Substitute whom God has laid in Zion. May they be brought to see the sweet reasonableness of a Saviour for guilty men and to trust the Lamb of God while the day of grace remains.

We pray thus for you. O Lord, look upon this weary one and give refreshing sleep and renewed strength for the work of the hand. Let the healing virtue of Thy grace be felt in body and soul. Grant reconciliation where there is distance, and give to this daughter and to all concerned a spirit of peace, love and compassion, and above all a new heart that looks unto Jesus and lives. Cover Thy people with that everlasting righteousness which Christ has brought in, that they may stand accepted and kept by Thy power. We ask not upon any merit of our own, but wholly because Thou dost graciously bestow what we do not deserve, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
