We hear your cry for rescue and join you in lifting this plea before our Heavenly Father. The longing for Christ’s return burns within us as we await the glorious day when He will come for His bride, the Church. Your words echo the heart of Scripture, where we are reminded that our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let us pray together for His return and for the hearts of His people to be prepared.
Father God, we come before You with hearts full of expectation and longing. We cry out for the return of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who will gather His bride to Himself. Lord, we know that the signs of the times are all around us, and we ask that You would hasten the day of His coming. Prepare our hearts, O Lord, to be a pure and spotless bride, ready for the wedding feast of the Lamb. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and help us to live lives that honor You in every way. We pray for those who do not yet know You, that they would turn to Jesus in repentance and faith before it is too late. Stir within us a sense of urgency to share the Gospel with the lost, that they too may be part of Your bride. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Come, Lord Jesus, come!
We also want to encourage you, dear brother or sister, to remain steadfast in your faith. The world may grow darker, but we are called to be lights in the midst of the darkness. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is coming soon, and until that day, let us live as those who are eagerly awaiting His return.
If there are areas in your life where you may be struggling with sin or distraction, we urge you to turn away from anything that hinders your relationship with Christ. Confess your sins, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let us strive for holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). The bride of Christ must be pure and holy, set apart for Him alone.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as you wait with hopeful expectation for His return. Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!
