Requesting prayer for passing interview

Loroeron

Disciple of Prayer
Tomorrow I have a interview in a company and please pray for me to get that job with good salary if it's god will. If it's not god's will please pray for me to get a blessed job before my visiting Visa expires. Please pray for me. I'm very much worried.

We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your interview tomorrow and your need for employment before your visa expires. Father, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and we trust in Your perfect timing and provision. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We ask that You calm your heart and fill you with Your peace as you prepare for this opportunity.

Lord, we pray that if this job is Your will for you, that You would open the doors and grant favor in the eyes of those interviewing you. Give you wisdom, clarity, and confidence as you answer their questions. May You guide your words and actions so that they reflect Your love and integrity. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You direct your steps and lead you to the job that You have prepared for you.

If this position is not part of Your plan, we pray that You would close this door gently and open another one that aligns with Your purpose for your life. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Provide you with a blessed job opportunity that meets your needs and allows you to honor You in all that you do.

We also want to encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior, so that you may experience the fullness of God’s blessings and peace.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of worry and fear that may be trying to take hold of your heart. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would replace your anxiety with faith and trust in Your goodness. Help you to cast all your cares upon You, knowing that You care for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also pray for your financial provision during this time. You are our Provider, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Whether through this job or another opportunity, we ask that You supply all that you need to thrive and honor You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We’re holding this with you tonight, the interview tomorrow, the visa clock quietly ticking in the background, and the weight of wanting something so badly it keeps your mind spinning. We get it. When so many pieces feel beyond our control, worry can start to feel like the only thing we’re holding onto.

Right now, we’re simply asking the Lord to steady your heart through the hours ahead and to guide the conversation in that room tomorrow. Not our will but his, and we trust that his provision isn’t limited to one opportunity, one company, or one timeline. He sees your need for work, for provision, and for a door to stay and build, and he is not indifferent to any of it.

A practical thought as you head in: take a few quiet minutes before you walk through the door to remember what you genuinely bring to the table. Not polishing yourself up or pretending the stakes are low, but simply grounding yourself in what is real about your skills and work ethic. That steadiness often speaks as loudly as any answer you give. And sometimes the best thing we can do after an interview is surrender the outcome fully to the Lord and then get a good meal and some rest. You’ve done your part. He remains faithful.

Lord Jesus, you know the anxious thoughts running circles in this heart. Meet them with your peace as the interview begins and ends. Open the right door for meaningful work with fair provision, and guard this one from despair if tomorrow is not the yes they long for. Provide before the visa expires, we ask boldly, and let your will become clearer with each step. Calm the worry and replace it with quiet confidence in your timing and care. In your name we pray, amen.

Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. But when you have done your best with your little, do not worry because you cannot make it more. Have you not found out yet, I have, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty, unfits you to meet that difficulty? This interview tomorrow, the salary, the expiry of your visa, all these temporal affairs cast a shadow, but our Savior's injunction means, "Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs." You are prudent to prepare, but having done your best, do not sit down and wring your hands because you cannot command the outcome. The very anxiety would have you charge God foolishly, yet in all this, look that you sin not by unbelieving speeches. See what Job did. He fell down upon the ground, and worshipped.

If you are as poor as Job in prospects, be as patient as Job and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets. Job said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." He meant that he was confident the Lord was just. And though he did not feel the way was clear, he never doubted the righteousness of God in ordering his path. You ask prayer for a blessed job, and that is right, but come to the matter with this childlike confidence: if it is God's will, the door will open; if it is not, then some other blessed provision shall appear before the time runs out. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths. The night shall not hang its darkness forever. The Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. So pray now, not merely about your own need, but lift your heart for others even in this hour of personal concern. In all this, the Lord can uphold you; the bow can be renewed in your hand. Go to that interview without the fretful spirit. Do not be so affected by external things. Job had heard of God, but a more vivid apprehension came later. You will yet see that He does all things well.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are heavy laden with worry, and Christ Himself calls out to you: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He does not merely offer forgiveness of sins, but full security for your soul. So why do you let this interview scourge your spirit like the taskmasters of Egypt? Anxiety is a bitter slavery, a lash from the devil that brings no true gain. See, it is not your careful planning that will secure this job; even when you seem most active, the outcome depends entirely on God’s providence. Were He to withdraw His hand, all your toil would amount to nothing.

You ask for a good salary, but tell me, who is truly rich? The one who possesses much lives in constant fear, trembling lest supplies run out, always begging for more. But the one who trusts in God and embraces humility, even if poor in this world’s goods, needs nothing and fears nothing. If it is God’s will for you to receive this position, He will grant it without your anxious striving. If not, you must believe that He has already prepared a blessed job for you before your visa ends, a provision that nourishes not just the body but the soul. Do not cling to the weak and beggarly rudiments of worldly security as if they were gods. You have known God, or rather been known by Him; He will not forsake His elect.

Let not the threat of a visa’s expiration drive you to despair. The race of man may be greedy to know the future, but the Spirit already foretells what we truly need: that no charge can stand against those God has chosen. Your worth is not measured by an interviewer’s judgment. The one who judges unfairly is the one who must tremble, not you. So lay down this burden. I will pray for you, not that you cling to a particular outcome, but that you find the rest Christ promises, a freedom from anxiety, a heart lowly and content, knowing that whether you gain or lack, you are safe in Him.
