Request to Get Rid of Bad Relationship with ### one and for all. I don't and won't blame her for anything at all. Her being in my life has been a cause of extreme worries, anxieties, stress, tension, depression and fears. Lord, I request you to cleanse her association from my life once and for all.

We understand the deep burden you carry, and we join you in seeking God’s deliverance from this painful relationship that has brought such distress into your life. The weight of anxiety, stress, and depression you describe is not God’s will for you, and we are grieved to hear how this bond has harmed your peace. The Bible reminds us in **2 Corinthians 6:14**, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* While we do not know the specifics of this relationship, if it is one that draws you away from godliness—whether through unbelief, emotional turmoil, or sinful entanglements—it is not what the Lord intends for His children.

We also note that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through whom all prayers must be brought. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And **Acts 4:12** affirms, *"There is no other name under heaven... by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for apart from Him, there is no true freedom or peace. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord over every area of your life. Only then can you walk in the fullness of His deliverance.

If this relationship involves fornication, emotional dependency outside of marriage, or any form of sexual immorality, we must lovingly but firmly rebuke this as sin. **1 Corinthians 6:18** commands, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* And **1 Thessalonians 4:3-5** says, *"This is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* If this applies to your situation, we urge you to repent and turn away from this sin, seeking God’s forgiveness and cleansing. He is faithful to restore you if you come to Him with a broken and contrite heart (**1 John 1:9**).

If this is a romantic relationship outside of marriage, we must also ask: Are you pursuing a godly courtship with the intent of marriage to a believer, or is this a bond that has no biblical foundation? The Scriptures are clear that marriage is honorable and the only right context for physical and emotional intimacy (**Hebrews 13:4**). If this relationship is not leading toward a Christ-centered marriage, it must end. Even if it is not sexual, emotional entanglements that create anxiety and draw you away from peace are not of God. **Proverbs 4:23** warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* Guard your heart, for it affects your walk with Christ.

Now, let us pray together for your deliverance and healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is bound by a relationship that has brought nothing but sorrow, fear, and distress. Lord, You see the depths of their heart and the chains that have held them captive. We ask You to break every ungodly soul tie, every emotional bond, and every stronghold that has kept them in this cycle of pain. **Psalm 34:17-19** declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*

Father, if this relationship is not of You—if it is rooted in unbelief, sin, or anything that contradicts Your Word—we ask You to sever it completely. Give our brother/sister the strength to walk away, the wisdom to recognize Your will, and the courage to obey, even when it is hard. **Isaiah 41:10** reminds us, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Lord, uphold them now. Let them feel Your presence and know that You are their refuge.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression that has taken hold through this relationship. **2 Timothy 1:7** says, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are sovereign over their life. If there has been sin, Lord, convict them deeply, but also wash them clean by the blood of Jesus. Restore their joy and their hope.

Father, we ask that You surround them with godly community—brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage them, pray for them, and hold them accountable. If they are lonely, comfort them with Your love. If they are weak, strengthen them by Your Spirit. **Psalm 147:3** assures us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Lord, bind up their wounds and heal every place this relationship has broken them.

We also pray for the woman involved in this situation. Lord, if she does not know You, we ask that You draw her to Yourself. Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let her find true peace in Christ alone. If she is a believer but has been a source of harm, we ask that You convict her and lead her to repentance. But most of all, Father, we ask that You remove her influence from our brother’s/sister’s life if it is not Your will for them to be together.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You redirect their heart toward Your perfect plan. If marriage is Your will for them, let it be a godly marriage to a believer who will cherish them as Christ loves the Church (**Ephesians 5:25**). If singleness is Your call for this season, grant them contentment and purpose in You alone. **Matthew 6:33** reminds us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let them seek You above all else.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). Give them patience to wait on You and faith to believe that You are making a way where there seems to be no way.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in this, dear one. The enemy wants to keep you in bondage, but Christ has set you free (**Galatians 5:1**). Walk in that freedom. Cut off all contact if necessary, fill your mind with Scripture, and surround yourself with those who will point you to Jesus. He is your deliverer, your healer, and your hope. Trust Him fully. We are praying with you and for you.

We're here with you, dear one, feeling the weight of this relationship that's been causing you so much distress. We understand the turmoil it's brought into your life, the anxiety, stress, and depression you've been facing. It's not easy, but remember, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We want to pray with you, but first, let's make sure we're asking in Jesus' name. He is the only way to the Father, and it's through Him that we can find true freedom and peace. If you haven't already, we urge you to surrender your life to Christ. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord over every area of your life.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, lifting up our friend who's been bound by a relationship that's caused nothing but sorrow, fear, and distress. Lord, You see into the depths of their heart and the chains that have held them captive. We ask You to break every ungodly soul tie, every emotional bond, and every stronghold that's keeping them in this cycle of pain. Heal them, Lord. Comfort them with Your love, and give them the strength to walk away if this relationship is not of You.

If this relationship is rooted in unbelief, sin, or anything that contradicts Your Word, we ask You to sever it completely. Give them the strength to walk away, the wisdom to recognize Your will, and the courage to obey, even when it's hard. You've promised, 'I am with you; I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand' (Isaiah 41:10). So, we trust in You, Lord.

We also pray for the other person involved. If they don't know You, we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let them find true peace in Christ alone. If they're a believer but have been a source of harm, we ask that You convict them and lead them to repentance. But most of all, Lord, we ask that You remove their influence from our friend's life if it's not Your will for them to be together.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You redirect their heart toward Your perfect plan. If marriage is Your will for them, let it be a godly marriage to a believer who will cherish them as Christ loves the Church. If singleness is Your call for this season, grant them contentment and purpose in You alone.

In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Keep standing firm, dear one. The enemy wants to keep you in bondage, but Christ has set you free. Walk in that freedom. Cut off all contact if necessary, fill your mind with Scripture, and surround yourself with those who will point you to Jesus. He is your deliverer, your healer, and your hope. Trust Him fully. We're praying with you and for you.
