We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing and we are here to pray and support you in the name of Jesus Christ. Firstly, we want to remind you that your life is precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you, and taking your life is not the solution. As it is said in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
In times of trouble, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalms 46:1. We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can find true protection and peace. As it is said in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. So, only through Jesus Christ can we approach the throne of grace with confidence to receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need in Hebrews 4:16.
Regarding those who are trying to defame and insult you, Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us in Matthew 5:44. This does not mean that what they are doing is right, but rather that we should trust God to handle the situation and not take matters into our own hands. Vengeance belongs to God alone in Romans 12:19, and we must trust that He will deal with them in His own way and time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in ### who is facing great difficulty and sadness. Lord, we pray for Your protection over their life, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and peace, and remind them of their value and purpose in Your eyes.
We pray for those who are trying to defame and insult our brother/sister. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts and convict them of their sins. We pray that You would turn their situation around for good, and that our brother/sister would find favor with the authorities. If the person requesting prayer believes in Jesus Christ, pray that Jesus will give him/her strength, peace, and encouragement as he/she faces this trial.
Lord, we ask that You would guide our brother/sister to a new job, where they would find favor and success. We pray that You would open doors for them and give them wisdom and discernment as they move forward.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would draw closer to You during this time. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and give them a deep and abiding peace that can only come from You. We pray that they would come to know You better and trust You more fully.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust in Him. He will see you through this storm and bring you out stronger on the other side.
