Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for trusting us to pray for you in this hard season. Hearing that you are weary financially, physically and emotionally, and that you feel too tired even to pray, moves us with compassion, and we want you to know you are not alone.
It is a good and right thing to ask for the prayers of others. The Scripture shows that the prayer of the church was made earnestly for Peter when he was in need, and the prayer of fellow believers can do great things. We need that help from one another, and God graciously gives it. At the same time prayer is a great weapon given to us for the daily battles and storms of life, to keep us steady and to keep our hearts close to God morning and night. Even when you have no words, God sees your weariness and hears the prayers offered on your behalf.
We will pray for you now and continue to remember you before the Lord.
Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the financial pressure, the physical weakness and the emotional exhaustion. You know what it is to be weary, and You invite all who are heavy burdened to come to You for rest. We ask that You would give provision for daily needs, strength for the body, peace for the mind and comfort for the heart. When words fail, hear the sighs and the tears, and let Your presence be near. Sustain and guard this life through each day, and renew hope and strength little by little. Help this one to rest in Your grace and to know that You are propitious and near to those who call upon You, even with a simple and tired prayer. In Jesus name we ask this, Amen.
Please do not hesitate to reach out again. We are continuing to pray for you, and we encourage you, as you have strength, to speak to God even in a few short words from the heart, for He hears always. May the Lord keep you and give you His peace.
