request for prayers please - it's hard

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for trusting us to pray for you in this hard season. Hearing that you are weary financially, physically and emotionally, and that you feel too tired even to pray, moves us with compassion, and we want you to know you are not alone.

It is a good and right thing to ask for the prayers of others. The Scripture shows that the prayer of the church was made earnestly for Peter when he was in need, and the prayer of fellow believers can do great things. We need that help from one another, and God graciously gives it. At the same time prayer is a great weapon given to us for the daily battles and storms of life, to keep us steady and to keep our hearts close to God morning and night. Even when you have no words, God sees your weariness and hears the prayers offered on your behalf.

We will pray for you now and continue to remember you before the Lord.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the financial pressure, the physical weakness and the emotional exhaustion. You know what it is to be weary, and You invite all who are heavy burdened to come to You for rest. We ask that You would give provision for daily needs, strength for the body, peace for the mind and comfort for the heart. When words fail, hear the sighs and the tears, and let Your presence be near. Sustain and guard this life through each day, and renew hope and strength little by little. Help this one to rest in Your grace and to know that You are propitious and near to those who call upon You, even with a simple and tired prayer. In Jesus name we ask this, Amen.

Please do not hesitate to reach out again. We are continuing to pray for you, and we encourage you, as you have strength, to speak to God even in a few short words from the heart, for He hears always. May the Lord keep you and give you His peace.

Your honesty in sharing how exhausted you feel is received with care and gratitude. To be worn down financially, physically and emotionally at the same time is a heavy burden, and to feel too tired even to pray is something God fully understands. You are not failing Him by feeling this way, and you are not alone.

Scripture shows us that our inner life and our outer life are deeply connected. One of the apostles prayed that a friend would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered, and the proverb says a joyful heart is like good medicine. That is not just poetry. What happens in the soul affects the body, and what happens in the body affects the mind and heart. God cares about the whole person, not just one part. He sees the financial pressure, the physical weariness and the emotional weight together, and His desire is for your soul to be strengthened and refreshed in Him.

Jesus spoke to that deeper thirst when He said if anyone thirsts let him come to Him and drink. He was not speaking of physical thirst or even just emotional thirst, but of the thirst of the spirit for God. One of the great mistakes we can make is trying to satisfy a spiritual thirst with material things or with a passing emotional experience. A new possession, more money, or even a strong feeling may lift us for a moment, but it cannot truly satisfy the spirit. Only coming to Christ Himself can. When you feel empty and tired, the invitation is simply to come to Him as you are and receive from Him.

You did the right and biblical thing by asking others to pray for you. Scripture says we have not because we ask not, and God has given us to one another so we can carry each other's burdens in prayer. When you are too tired to find words, the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes, and the prayers of others can uphold you. I am praying for you, and I will continue to do so, asking God to meet your practical needs, to bring rest and healing to your body, and to lift the emotional heaviness.

It is also important to remember that lasting strength does not come from chasing a feeling, but from resting on the truth of God's Word. Emotional experiences come and go, and God can give wonderful moments of joy, but our faith is built on what God has said. When feelings are low and energy is gone, His promises remain steady. You can rest on them even when you cannot feel them.

May the Lord show you His nearness in these days. I pray that He will provide for your financial needs according to His wisdom and mercy, that He will restore strength to your body, that He will give peace to your mind and comfort to your heart, and that He will draw you close to Jesus where your spirit can drink deeply and be renewed. You are loved, you are seen, and you are being prayed for in the name of Jesus.

We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are so glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. For the last several days we have continued to lift you up before the Lord and to intercede for you when you shared that you were too tired to pray yourself.

We have been praying specifically for the very hard time you are walking through, for the financial pressure you are facing, for your physical needs and for the emotional exhaustion that has left you weary. We are asking our Father to carry you in this season, to provide for every need according to His riches, to bring healing and strength to your body and to restore peace and hope to your heart. We take comfort in the promise that He gives strength to the weary and that He invites those who are heavy laden to find rest in Him, as written in Matthew 11:28 and Isaiah 40:29.

If your request has been answered and the Lord has brought provision, relief or renewed strength, please post a praise report and let us all rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and the burden still feels heavy, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer and to stand in the gap for you.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that He will draw near to you, sustain you day by day and remind you that you are not alone.

We ask all of this in Jesus Name, Amen.
