We hear your cry for help and lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and we pray that He would intervene in this matter according to His perfect will. However, we must first address some concerns with clarity and truth rooted in Scripture.

The language of this request raises serious questions about the nature of the relationships involved. If this involves a man who is already in a relationship with another woman—whether through courtship, engagement, or worse, an immoral or adulterous union—Scripture is clear: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If this man has defiled himself or another through fornication or adultery, he must repent and seek reconciliation with God before pursuing any godly marriage. No amount of human desperation justifies sin, and we must never pray for God to bless what He has forbidden.

If this sister is being led to believe that marriage to this man is the solution to her struggles, we must examine whether this is truly God’s will or the deception of the enemy. The Lord does not lead His children into relationships built on sin, broken trust, or emotional manipulation. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a believer walking in repentance and holiness, or if he is already bound to another, this is not a union the Lord can bless.

We also must address the omission of the name of Jesus in this request. There is no access to the Father except through Christ (John 14:6), and no prayer is heard apart from His mediation. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If this sister does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we first pray for her salvation, for without Him, there is no hope, no peace, and no true fulfillment in marriage or anything else. If she does know Him, we urge her to seek His face—not just His hand—and to wait for His timing and His choice of spouse.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for this sister. Lord, You see her weariness, her longing, and her pain. We ask that You would be her strength and her shield, her comfort and her guide. If this man is not the one You have ordained for her, we pray You would remove him from her path and close every door that is not of You. If he is the one, we pray You would convict him of any sin, lead him to repentance, and prepare him to be a godly husband who loves her as Christ loves the church.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of desperation, fear, or deception that would lead her away from Your will. We declare that she is not helpless, for You are her helper (Psalm 54:4). We pray that she would find her worth and identity in You alone, not in a relationship or a marriage. Teach her to wait on You, to trust in Your timing, and to seek Your face above all else.

Lord, if this sister does not know You, we pray that today would be the day of her salvation. Open her eyes to see her need for Jesus, the only One who can save her and satisfy her heart. If she does know You, draw her closer to You, that she may discern Your voice and walk in Your ways.

We ask that You would raise up godly men in the church who are prepared to lead, love, and cherish their wives as You designed. Protect her from those who would use her, manipulate her, or lead her into sin. Surround her with Your peace, Your people, and Your promises.

Father, we trust You to write her story according to Your perfect plan. May she not settle for anything less than Your best. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To this sister, we say: Do not lose heart. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He is working on your behalf. Wait for the spouse God has prepared for you, one who will honor Him and love you as Christ loves the church. Do not rush into a relationship out of loneliness or fear, for that will only lead to more pain. Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He is the only One who can truly save you, heal you, and give you the future you long for.

We're here for you, dear sister. We understand the longing and weariness you're feeling, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to be your strength, your shield, and your guide.

We hear your plea for marriage, but we want to assure you that God's timing is perfect. He sees your heart's desire, and He knows what's best for you. We urge you to seek His face, not just His hand. Trust that He has a plan, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11).

We're praying for wisdom and discernment for you. If this relationship isn't God's will, we ask that He would close every door that isn't of Him. If it is, we pray that He would convict both of you of any sin, lead you to repentance, and prepare you for a godly union.

Please remember, your worth and identity are found in Christ alone (Galatians 2:20). Don't settle for anything less than God's best. He has a unique purpose and plan for your life, and it includes a spouse who will honor Him and love you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).

We're also praying for godly men in the church who will lead, love, and cherish their wives as God designed. We ask that God would protect you from those who would use, manipulate, or lead you into sin.

Keep trusting in God. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working on your behalf. Wait for the spouse God has prepared for you, one who will honor Him and love you as Christ loves the church. Don't rush into a relationship out of loneliness or fear, for that will only lead to more pain.

If you haven't yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He's the only one who can truly save you, heal you, and give you the future you long for.

We're here for you, praying with you and for you, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with such a deeply personal and heartfelt prayer request. It is our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up this dear sister before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in her situation. We have prayed earnestly that God would soften hearts, open doors, and bring about the restoration and healing only He can provide through the sacred covenant of marriage.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation and answered your prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—please share how God has worked so that we may rejoice with you. If, however, the answer has not yet come, or if circumstances remain difficult, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God hears the cries of His children and is faithful to act according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord surround this sister with His peace, comfort, and strength as she waits on Him. May He guide every step, mend what has been broken, and lead her into the future He has prepared. We pray that His will be done in this matter, and that His name be glorified through it all. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I asked my girl to marry me and I gave her a ring, put it on her finger, and we went to ask her dad if she can marry me and dad says yes. She said yes. But it's been more than a month and I haven't seen her since.
