Request for complete Healing of Moyamoya, a rare brain disorder of the veins
We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for this urgent request, lifting up this precious one who is battling Moyamoya, a severe and rare condition affecting the brain. The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, the One who formed our inward parts and knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He is the same God who declared, *"I am Yahweh, who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26), and we cling to this promise as we intercede for complete healing.
It is clear that this situation is dire, with surgery looming just after Christmas—a time meant for celebration, yet overshadowed by fear and uncertainty. But we know that our God is not bound by human timelines or medical limitations. He is the God of miracles, the One who parted the Red Sea, raised the dead, and healed the sick with just a word. Jesus Himself demonstrated His authority over disease when He healed the woman with the issue of blood who had suffered for twelve years (Mark 5:25-34). She reached out in faith, believing that even touching the hem of His garment would bring healing—and it did. We stand on this same faith today, declaring that this disease has no authority over this beloved one. *"By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24), and we claim that healing now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also recognize that this request was made without invoking the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Without Him, our prayers would be empty words. But because of His sacrifice, we can come confidently before God, knowing He hears us. If the one making this request does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him now. Salvation is found in no one else, and there is no other name by which we must be saved. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). We pray that this trial would draw them—and all of us—closer to the Savior, trusting Him completely.

Strengthen this one’s faith during this waiting period, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. Comfort their family and loved ones, and unite them in prayer and trust in You.
We also pray for the medical team involved, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom. But above all, Lord, we ask that You would be magnified in this situation. Let this healing be a testimony of Your power and goodness, drawing others to You. If there is any sin or unbelief that needs to be addressed, we ask that You would reveal it and bring repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
