Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His Word, which never returns void but accomplishes what He pleases (Isaiah 55:10-11). Your request reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, His patient work in the hearts of those who hear the truth, and His power to bring repentance and restoration. We stand with you in praying for this wife’s heart, that the Holy Spirit would convict, humble, and draw her to the Father (John 16:8), just as He has done throughout Scripture, from Nebuchadnezzar’s restoration (Daniel 4:28-37) to the prodigal son’s return (Luke 15:17-20).

Father, we thank You that You are the Gardener who plants and waters the seeds of Your Word (1 Corinthians 3:6-7). We ask that You would continue to send faithful believers into her path, those who will speak truth in love, demonstrate Your kindness (Romans 2:4), and water the seeds already sown. Order her steps, Lord, as You ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-31), of Ananias to Saul (Acts 9:10-11), and of Paul to Macedonia (Acts 16:6-10). May she, like Nebuchadnezzar, come to her senses and acknowledge that You alone are sovereign (Daniel 4:34-37).

We also pray for the patriarchs, matriarchs, and all who have heard Your Word in recent months. Soften their hearts to receive the conviction of the Spirit, leading to godly sorrow and repentance (2 Corinthians 7:9-11). Protect them from deception, lies, and the schemes of the evil one (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10), and grant them the humility that precedes honor (Proverbs 18:12).

Lord, we rejoice that Your Word is living and active, piercing to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). You are always working (John 5:17), and we trust that the prayers of the righteous avail much (James 5:16). Thank You for Your promise to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6) and to do exceedingly abundantly beyond what we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

We rebuke any hardness of heart or resistance to Your Spirit in this situation. If there is unrepentant sin, whether in this wife’s life or in the lives of those around her, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant true repentance. If there are influences or relationships that do not align with Your Word, we pray for discernment and courage to walk away from them. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6), and we pray that any relationships outside of this design would be surrendered to Your will.

Above all, we pray that all involved would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this wife does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, that she may repent, believe, and be reconciled to You (2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:3-4).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of partnering with You in prayer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the steady, believing prayer behind your words, and we join you in trusting that every seed of truth planted will not return empty. Holding a loved one before God day after day can be wearying, but your reliance on the Spirit’s work, rather than your own persuasiveness, is exactly where peace is found.

One thing we’ve seen is that real repentance is more than feeling sorry; it’s a deep change of mind that eventually rearranges a person’s direction. That kind of turning is often slow, hidden, and easily missed. God’s kindness leads us there, and He is patient beyond what we can grasp. Meanwhile, your steady prayers and your own quiet faithfulness may be the clearest picture of that kindness she will ever see.

When the wait feels long, resist the pull to manage outcomes. Simply continue to pray, and when opportunities come, be a safe presence rather than a corrective voice. Trust the Holy Spirit to produce godly sorrow that won’t fade, the kind that brings life.

Father, we ask You to keep working in this wife’s heart, bringing her to genuine, life-changing repentance and a renewed love for You. Guard her from deception, and surround her with people who will live out Your kindness before her. Strengthen our friend here with steady hope, and protect their own heart from discouragement or fear. We trust You to complete the work You began, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The prayer that has been lifted up in your midst is one that touches the very heart of the Gospel, for it pleads that the kindness of God would lead sinners to repentance. This is a petition according to the divine will, since the Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You have asked that the seeds of the Word, which have been planted and watered, might be given the increase which alone God can give, and that the Spirit would continue that deep work of conviction and humbling which precedes true restoration. This is well, for repentance is no mere human resolve; it is a gift from the hand that was pierced, a grace-worked change that turns the heart from sin to the Savior.

Be clear, however, what this repentance is that Scripture sets before us, lest any confuse the stirrings of a natural conscience with the life-giving sorrow of the renewed heart. There is a repentance of the flesh, a carnal grief that may be worked by judgments or fears, yet it ends in itself and gives no glory to God. The repentance that is unto life, however, makes the soul loathe sin itself, not merely its consequences, and it turns the eye away from self entirely to fix upon the crucified Christ. You have prayed that the prodigal might come to himself; this is the Spirit’s work, convicting him of righteousness and judgment, bringing him low that he might be lifted up by the Father’s full and free forgiveness.

Remember that repentance is not a payment made by the sinner to secure grace, nor is it a preparatory condition which makes us fit for Christ. It is, from its first breathing, the result of grace working within the soul. The humbling of the heart is one of the earliest products of a divine visitation, and it is never perfected until we see our sin in the light of His countenance. You do well to pray that the Lord would continue to humble those who need it, for it is when the iron enters the soul, as with Manasseh in his Babylonian prison, that the proud spirit learns to cry out to the living God. That prayer, bounded as it is by the Scriptures, rests not on the worthiness of the one being prayed for, but on the character of God, perfect and patient, and on the finished work of Jesus. His blood can wash the foulest; His grace can conquer the hardest. The father in the parable did not wait for an eloquent confession; he saw the son afar off, ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him again and again. Those kisses spoke of much love, much forgiveness, and full restoration. Urge on in prayer, then, with this confidence: that where true, Spirit-wrought repentance appears, there is the full and free remission of sins, and that He who began the work will carry it to completion until the day of Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many scriptures in your prayer, and that fervor for God’s word is right. But hear this carefully: even as you ask the Lord to work repentance in the heart of your wife, watch your own heart, lest a root of bitterness or secret pride spring up. True repentance is not a matter of many tears while the will clings to sin. Esau wept loudly, yet he found no place for repentance, because inwardly he still plotted murder. Godly sorrow is different, it breaks the soul so thoroughly that it would rather suffer wrong than strike back. That is the sacrifice God accepts: a broken and contrite heart.

Now then, if you desire mercy for her, become an image of mercy yourself. Do not treat her as an enemy, but as your own flesh. You are bound to a wife; do not seek to be loosed. Instead, pay her the honor that is her due, even when it is difficult. The kindness of God leads to repentance, and perhaps she will be won by your gentle conduct and persistent prayers, infused with humility. Remember that humility is the ground of all good, not just in words, but in every action.

Continue to pray, yes, and also apply the other remedies the Church provides: alms, fasting, forgiveness of her faults, and genuine compunction for your own. God is able to humble the proud, as He did Nebuchadnezzar, and to restore the wandering, like the prodigal. But He works through the faithful love and patience of a spouse. Do not grow weary or try to force the matter by your own strength. Entrust her to the Great Physician, and let your life preach the gospel she needs to see. For if you are a peacemaker and meek, how could you ever harden yourself against the one you are called to win back? The mercy of God is great, and many have been restored through such a witness.

Your prayer lays out the very promises of God, and that is the safest ground on which to stand. You are asking Him to do exactly what He delights to do: to bring a heart to the end of itself so that it might find true life in Christ. Every seed of truth ever spoken into her life is still alive, because His Word cannot return empty. The kindness of God is a relentless force, designed to break through resistance not with thunder, but with a patience that outlasts our stubbornness.

Yet your request also presses into the deep mystery of the human will. We know God is not willing that any perish. We also know from His Word that there is a point where a person can seek something with tears and still miss it entirely. Esau wept and sought the blessing, but he never found a place of repentance. Why? Because what he really wanted was relief from the bitter consequences, not a changed heart. His grief was worldly sorrow, not the genuine, Spirit-wrought sorrow that leads to salvation and leaves no regret. That is a crucial distinction. We are not praying merely for remorse or a temporary domestic peace. We are praying for the kind of humbling that Nebuchadnezzar experienced: a stripping away of prideful sanity until he lifted his eyes to heaven and confessed that the Most High rules. That humbling comes before honor, before restoration.

That is why the hope you hold out must remain fixed on the nature of God’s grace. The grace that brings salvation does not leave a person as they were. It arrives and immediately begins its teaching work, instructing us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions. A salvation that comforts without transforming is not the salvation of Scripture. If the waters merely soaked the rats without the memory of near-drowning, hope died sooner. The lasting hope came from knowing they had been rescued. So too, the deepest work of the Spirit is to convince of sin and righteousness and judgment, creating a desperation that clings to Christ alone, not for a repaired marriage or a better life, but for a Savior. The breach in this relationship, if it stems from a rejection of Christ by one heart, is a spiritual fissure that no amount of human kindness can permanently paper over. If an unbelieving partner departs, there is a peace that surpasses the striving. Our assignment is faithfulness in planting and watering, leaving the growth entirely in God’s hands.

Keep thanking Him in advance, not for a specific outcome you have choreographed, but because You know He who began a good work is able to complete it. The day of salvation is today, and we plead that the ears of her heart would not let it pass by. We are His workmanship, His poem. Keep trusting the Author to finish the story, even when the lines seem tangled. He is working, even now.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer, lifting up the matters of the heart that weigh so heavily on you. It is a sacred honor to intercede on behalf of your "still current wife," your family, and all those who have heard the Word, trusting in the power of Scripture to convict, transform, and bring forth repentance through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Your prayer was rich with the truth of God’s Word, and we join you in declaring that His Word does not return void. We have prayed in agreement with you, asking the Lord to continue His work—planting seeds, watering them, and bringing forth growth in His perfect timing. We have asked Him to restrain evil, to send laborers to speak truth and show kindness, and to guide the steps of the righteous as He has promised. We have stood on the assurance that He is patient, not willing that any should perish, and that He desires all to come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—if hearts have softened, if truth has taken root, or if His protection and guidance have been evident—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share with us how He has worked, so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the answer is not yet clear, or if the battle still rages, we encourage you to post this request again as a new prayer. We are committed to standing with you, lifting these needs before the throne of grace until the day of Christ, when every work He has begun will be brought to completion. Let us continue to seek Him together, trusting that He is actively working, even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press into Him, and may His Spirit continue to guide, convict, and restore. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen.
