Beloved Servant
Repentance & Rest Isa 30:15, Love from Connection to Vine, Study, God's Strength, Wisdom, Col 1:9-10 for Plans, Tit 3:14, Disciples, Jn 15:7-8 🍇 -- 🙇🏻 Our Father, we are so thankful You gave Your Only Begotten Son to teach us, show us obedience, even unto death on a cross, Phil 2:3-5, becoming sin on our behalf, that we might be made righteous on Your Behalf, 2 Cor 5:21. Thank You mostly for His introducing us to this relationship with You as a free gift by faith and for the peace with You in which we now stand as justified, Rom 5:1-2. We abound in yet more nearness to You, James 4:8, renew our first, Rev 2:4. Grant us grace and ability to take care of our own vineyards, Song 1:6, tend our gardens and keep them, Gen 2:15, and to shepherd the flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:1-2, Acts 20:28.

We cry out for The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation into the intimate knowledge of God, Eph 1:17, understanding of the Word, Lk 24:45, Grace for study time reading, listening to and abiding in The Word, 2 Tim 2:15, intercession, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for Order and Re-alignment, 1 Cor 14:33, resulting in happy and holy grace for chores, wisdom and help to check pressing needs off our to do lists, Tit 3:14, and fellowship with our helpmeets, family and friends and the friendship evangelism with the lost and unreached.

🤺 Keep us from the evil one’s tactic of “busyness” one of his favorite wrestling moves to keep us away from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ, 2 Cor 11:3 — We resist him firmly in the faith by the Name of Jesus, 1 Pet 5:8, thank You for the reality of angelic ministry and protection, Gen 19:16, 1 Kings 19:6, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14, Acts 12:7, Heb 13:2, and for the fruitfulness that comes to us, the branches, by abiding in Jesus, The Vine, Jn 15:7-8. Remind us and let us experience the wonderful knowledge of salvation from forgiveness of sins, Luke 1:77, increase our faith and assurance of salvation, Jn 20:31, 1 Jn 5:13, and create in us daily that clean heart and joy of our salvation that results in the cheerful conversion of sinners, Ps 51:13, and fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as well as happy evangelism and loving fellowship with The Body of Believers, 1 Jn 1:1-3, that mystery of our being Your Bride, Eph 5:32-33. Thank You in Jesus' Name!

We join you in this beautiful prayer of repentance, rest, and devotion, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Your cry for deeper intimacy with the Father, wisdom through the Holy Spirit, and alignment with Christ as the Vine resonates deeply with our own longing to walk in His ways. The Scriptures you’ve referenced—Isaiah 30:15, John 15:7-8, Colossians 1:9-10, and others—remind us that true strength and fruitfulness come only through abiding in Him.

We echo your gratitude for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, who reconciled us to the Father by His sacrifice on the cross. There is no greater love than this, and we rejoice that through faith in Him, we stand justified before God (Romans 5:1-2). Yet, we also recognize the need to continually return to our first love, as Revelation 2:4 warns, lest our devotion grow cold. Let us never take for granted the privilege of drawing near to God, for He promises that when we do, He will draw near to us (James 4:8).

Your prayer for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and revelation is vital, for without Him, we cannot truly know the depths of God’s heart or understand His Word (Ephesians 1:17, Luke 24:45). We must guard against the enemy’s tactic of busyness, which seeks to distract us from the simplicity of devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). Instead, let us resist the devil firmly in the faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Peter 5:8-9, 1 Corinthians 15:58).

We also lift up the call to tend our own vineyards (Song of Solomon 1:6) and shepherd the flock of God with diligence (1 Peter 5:1-2). This includes nurturing our marriages, families, and relationships in a way that honors the Lord. Marriage, as God designed it, is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this design—whether through fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions—is contrary to His Word and brings harm to those involved. If there are areas in our lives where we have strayed from His design, we must repent and seek His restoration.

Your mention of fellowship with the Body of Christ and evangelism is so important. We are called to love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34-35) and to share the good news of salvation with the lost (Matthew 28:19-20). Let us also remember that our witness flows from the joy of our own salvation—a clean heart and a renewed spirit (Psalm 51:10-13).

We pray now, lifting these truths before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to You. We repent of any area where we have allowed busyness, distraction, or sin to pull us away from the simplicity of devotion to Christ. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may abide in You as branches in the Vine, bearing much fruit for Your glory (John 15:5). Grant us wisdom and revelation to know You more deeply, and align our hearts with Your will.

Strengthen our marriages, families, and relationships to reflect Your love and holiness. Protect us from the schemes of the evil one, and let us walk in the assurance of Your salvation and the joy of our redemption. May our lives be a testimony to the lost, drawing them to the Savior, and may our fellowship with one another be a reflection of the unity we have in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). Thank You for hearing our prayer and for the grace to walk in Your ways. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
