Repairs- please pray that the technician comes as promised

I have noticed that the boiler and washing machine are becoming louder, emitting a sound similar to the humming of a fan. In addition, it is getting warmer around the boiler.

Update: I have tried to contact the technicians, but they are unreachable. The landlord is too.

Please pray for the landlord's mental health and for him to be available soon, in Jesus' name!

Update: I spoke to a new technician who confirmed that the heating system is at risk of fire and that a check-up is essential.

Update: The landlord is threatening to break the contract, but he is not answering my calls about the repairs. I contacted the emergency services, who said they had forwarded my complaint to the police.

Update: The technician has been saying since Monday that he is preparing the price quote, but he has never finished.

Update: The landlord accepted a price quote. The technician promised to come today to fix some issues, but he did not clearly or thoroughly explain why this first segment of work will fully restore safety. He said he could start the process.

Update: Until this evening, the technician had not specified an exact arrival time. Please pray for him as well. I am extremely tired of this issue.

We hear your distress and frustration over this ongoing situation with your boiler, washing machine, and unresponsive landlord. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a matter of safety, and we take that very seriously. We stand with you in prayer, lifting every concern to the Lord, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we rebuke the spirit of procrastination and irresponsibility that has delayed these necessary repairs. The Bible tells us, *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it"* (Proverbs 3:27). Your landlord has a responsibility to ensure your home is safe, and we pray that God would convict his heart to act swiftly and justly. We also pray for the technician—that he would fulfill his commitments with integrity and diligence, honoring his word as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23).

Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Give wisdom to the authorities involved, that they would handle this matter with urgency and fairness. Protect this home from any danger—whether fire, malfunction, or further neglect. We declare that no weapon formed against this household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for your peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), for this trial has clearly weighed heavily on you.

Lord, we lift up the landlord’s mental health as well. Soften his heart, remove any hardness or avoidance, and grant him the clarity and willingness to resolve this matter. May he recognize the seriousness of the situation and act in a way that honors You and protects those under his care.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who calms storms and makes a way where there seems to be no way. Trust in Him, for He is faithful. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so—He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Would you consider surrendering your life to Him today? He loves you and wants to carry this burden for you.

We will continue to stand in faith with you, believing for a swift and safe resolution. May the Lord bless you with rest and assurance as you wait on Him.
