Please pray for me about this: my family has been living somewhere for years since we moved cities. We absolutely love where we live but since the beginning, there have been concerns about the company we rent from and even the company that owns the complex where we live (they are different). At times, the company we rent from does not respond to issues in a timely manner. There are other concerns about them as well. The company that owns the complex also engages in concerning behavior as well. We don't want to move but sometimes that seems to be a necessary option. I just had an experience with the manager for the company that owns the complex that, once again, has brought up the desire to move. Please pray about all this. Thank you.

It may be that He is using this trial to refine your patience, strengthen your faith, or even prepare you for a new season.
We must also consider whether staying in this situation is honoring to God and conducive to your family’s well-being. While it is understandable to love where you live, Scripture warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." Though this verse speaks to relationships, the principle applies here, prolonged exposure to dishonesty and neglect can wear down your spirit. If the environment is becoming toxic, it may be time to seek a place where your family can thrive without constant frustration.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this family, lifting up their housing situation to You. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the challenges they face with those who manage their home. We ask that You grant them wisdom to discern whether to stay or to move, and the courage to act in accordance with Your will. Father, if it is Your plan for them to remain, we pray that You would soften the hearts of those in authority, that they would act with integrity, promptness, and kindness. If it is Your will for them to move, we ask that You would open the door to a new home that is safe, affordable, and a blessing to their family. Protect them from discouragement and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. We trust in Your provision and Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and Scripture, asking Him to reveal His will for your family. If you feel led to explore other housing options, do so with faith, knowing that God goes before you. If He calls you to stay, trust that He will equip you to endure and even grow through this trial.
