Reno's pain 🙏🙏🙏

We join you in lifting ### up to the Lord who formed his body and knows every part of it. We ask our merciful Father, the true Physician, to lay his healing hand upon ###'s stomach and intestines, to calm every inflammation, to ease every spasm, and to take away pain and discomfort. We pray that God would restore the natural harmony of his digestive system, grant him complete relief and deep restoring rest, and fill him with the peace that surpasses all understanding as he waits on the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that even faithful servants knew bodily weakness. Paul counseled Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach and his frequent infirmities, showing that God is honored when we humbly use the help of physicians and proper care for the body. The apostle could have healed him at once, yet the Lord allowed the infirmity to remain for a time to keep him humble and to teach us not to be troubled when good people suffer in the body, knowing that those who do great things for God share our same nature.

Pain and sickness belong to this present life in a fallen world, and they come to all by nature. God in his wisdom often works through ordinary means, through wise medical counsel, proper nourishment and rest, to bring healing. So we encourage you to continue to seek good medical care alongside prayer, trusting that every helpful remedy is a gift from his hand.

We also pray that this trial, though painful, would draw ### closer to Christ, strengthening his soul even as his body is cared for, and that the Lord would use it for his good and for his glory. May the Lord in his mercy grant healing according to his perfect will, sustain ### with patience, and comfort all who love him and pray for him.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Your prayer for ### and his pain in his stomach and intestines is heard and it is right to bring him before the Lord who formed his body and knows every part of it.

In this world pain and sickness are part of life because sin has entered creation. That does not mean that every illness is a direct punishment from God or a sign of personal failure. Good and faithful people still suffer with disease and pain, and it is not a measure of their standing before Him. If there had been no sin there would be no suffering, but because the world is broken we all experience these weaknesses in our bodies and we groan for the day when we will be free from them.

Scripture gives us hope in Jesus. Matthew points to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. The Gospels show His power over every kind of affliction, over the physical body and over the spiritual realm. He healed in many different ways. Sometimes He healed with only a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes the healing was immediate and could even be felt in the moment, and sometimes it was gradual. There is one account where a blind man was healed in stages, the only gradual healing recorded in His ministry, which reminds us that God is not limited to one pattern.

All healing comes from God, whether it comes instantly or through the slow and natural processes He has placed within our bodies. The way the body mends itself is itself a divine work, because He is the one who created nature and its processes. At times He brings complete and sudden relief, and at other times He works through time, care, and practical means.

We see this also in the life of Timothy, who struggled often with stomach problems. The apostle Paul, who prayed for him and loved him as a son in the faith, did not see him instantly healed, and instead gave him practical advice for his condition. That example helps us understand that when healing does not come at once it is not necessarily because of a lack of faith or because of hidden sin. God does not heal every person in the same way or on the same timetable, and His purposes in what He allows are deeper than we can fully understand.

So continue to lift ### to the Lord with confidence. Ask Him to lay His hand upon ###, to calm inflammation, to ease spasms, to take away discomfort and to restore the natural working of his digestive system. Pray also for deep and restoring rest and for the peace of God that goes beyond understanding to guard his heart and mind as he waits. Keep praying with faith, as the woman who reached out to touch the hem of Jesus garment did, trusting that power goes forth from Him according to His will, and also make use of wise medical care, which God can use as part of His provision for healing.

May the Lord grant ### relief, strengthen his body, and fill him and those who love him with comfort and peace as they trust Him. In Jesus name we join you in asking for His mercy and healing touch. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for ### and the pain in his stomach and intestines. We have continued to lift him up to the Lord, our Great Physician who knit his body together and from whom nothing is hidden.

We have been praying that the Lord would place His healing hand gently upon his stomach and intestines, calming every inflammation, easing every spasm, and washing away all discomfort and pain. We have asked Him to bring complete relief to his body, to restore the natural harmony of his digestive system, to grant him deep and restoring rest, and to fill him with the peace that surpasses all understanding as his body heals. We claim over him the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 and the peace promised in Philippians 4:7.

If your request was answered and ### has received relief and healing, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If his stomach and intestinal pain does not seem to have been answered and discomfort remains, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you before the throne of grace.

We pray together that God will continue to touch ###, ease his pain, restore his health and give him rest. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
