Bring complete relief to his body, restore the natural harmony of his digestive system, and grant him deep, restoring rest. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding as his body heals.

We join you in lifting up ### to our Heavenly Father right now and we thank you for bringing his need before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We agree with you that our God is the Great Physician who knit ### together and who sees every part of his body. We take comfort in His promises for healing and peace. We remember the words of Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and to the peace He offers in Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together for ### now. Father, in Jesus name we lift ### to You. You know the pain and discomfort in his stomach and intestines, every inflammation and spasm that causes him distress. We ask that You lay Your gentle and mighty hand upon him, calm all that is inflamed, ease every cramp and discomfort, and wash away all pain. Restore harmony and proper function to his digestive system according to Your perfect design. Grant him complete relief, deep and restoring rest, and fill his heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding as his body heals. We ask that You guide any physicians or treatment before him and give wisdom to know how best to care for his body, for You are Yahweh who heals us as You have said in Exodus 15:26 I am Yahweh who heals you. Let Your healing power be evident and let Your comfort surround him and those who love him.

We encourage you to continue to bring ### before the Lord with thanksgiving and trust, and to seek wise medical care as the Lord leads, resting in the assurance that our times and our health are in His gracious hands. We continue to stand with you in prayer for his full restoration and for the peace of Christ to guard him through this trial. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We were so moved by your prayer for ### and we want to stand with you in it. It is a tender thing to watch someone you love deal with ongoing stomach and intestinal pain, and the way you asked for God's gentle hand on his body shows how much you care.

We join you in asking the Lord, our Great Physician, to bring comfort and calm to his system and to give him deep, restoring rest. We know waiting for relief can be wearying for both ### and those who love him, and we are praying for peace to guard his heart and yours as you wait on the Lord.

If this pain has continued or is getting worse, we encourage you to make sure he is able to connect with his doctor or care team soon, so they can walk with you alongside prayer and help determine what care he needs.

Father, we lift ### to you today. You know his body intimately and you see his discomfort. We ask for your mercy to ease his pain, to calm what is inflamed, and to grant him rest and strength. We join you in bringing this beloved sufferer before the great throne of grace, and we do so with confidence in our heavenly Physician.

You have done well to tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and there abundant streams of healing flow down from our great conduit Head to men below. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and we learn from this that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue, and those who are washed in His blood find their nature changed and their spirits made whole.

Remember also that healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we are without spot or wrinkle. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, but our Lord cares both for the body and the soul, and He will not despise the cry of a broken and weary frame.

So we pray with you now. O Lord our God, You who knit this body together in the womb and see all that is hidden, lay Your gentle and mighty hand upon his stomach and intestines. Calm every inflammation, ease every spasm, and wash away all discomfort and pain. Restore the natural harmony of his digestive system as You first created it to be, grant him complete relief and deep, restoring rest, and fill his heart with that peace which surpasses all understanding as his body heals. May he feel the contact of Christ who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and may this affliction draw him nearer to the Savior in whom alone is salvation.

We leave him in Your tender keeping, trusting that whether You grant immediate relief or sustain through a longer trial, Your grace will be sufficient and Your healing leaves will not fail.

We join you in bringing this need before the Lord, and we thank you for entrusting this burden of pain in the stomach and intestines to prayer.

Be assured that bodily infirmity is not a sign that God has turned away. Even Timothy, who was faithful and diligent in the gospel, suffered frequent infirmities of the stomach, and Paul counseled him to use a little wine for the sake of his stomach and to make use of the help that medicine can give. Paul could have healed him at once, as God had worked miracles through him, yet he left him to the ordinary rules of medicine. This was not from lack of power, but so that we would not be offended when great and virtuous people suffer in the body, and so that we would learn humility and know that those who serve God are still men of like nature with ourselves, living in a body where disease and pain still come by nature in this present life.

Therefore we do not despise the means God has provided. As physicians apply remedies and often one remedy builds upon another until health is restored, so we pray and we also encourage the wise use of medical care, good counsel, and rest, trusting that the Lord works both directly and through these ordinary helps.

We pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, the Great Physician who knit this body together, look with mercy upon your servant in his pain. Lay your healing hand upon his stomach and intestines, calm inflammation, ease spasm, and take away distress. Restore the proper working of his body according to your wisdom, grant relief and deep restoring rest, and fill his heart with your peace that surpasses understanding as he waits upon you. Give wisdom to those who care for him, strengthen his faith not to be discouraged by this trial, and let this affliction work humility and hope in him. We ask this trusting in your goodness and power, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer for relief from this stomach and intestinal pain comes from a sincere trust in God as the one who formed the body and sees all that happens within it, and I join you in bringing this need before Him.

We do believe that God heals, and that Jesus bore our sicknesses as well as our sins, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew confirmed when he wrote that Jesus took our infirmities and carried our diseases. That promise includes physical healing, not only spiritual restoration. At the same time, Scripture shows us that healing takes different forms. Sometimes it is immediate, sometimes it is gradual as with the blind man whom Jesus touched more than once, and sometimes it comes through the natural processes God Himself designed within our bodies. Those natural processes are no less divine, because the God who created nature also created the ways our bodies mend and recover.

We also see in Scripture that God does not bring complete physical relief in every case in this life, and that is not a sign of lack of faith or failure on the part of the one who is suffering. Paul prayed earnestly for his own thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it, and though Paul surely prayed for Timothy who struggled often with stomach ailments, he also encouraged him with practical care for his condition. That reminds us that prayer and practical means are not opposed, God often works through both, and His wisdom in what He allows to remain is beyond our understanding. Our bodies in this present life groan and are subject to weakness and pain because of the brokenness sin brought into the world, and while we long for full deliverance, we trust His eternal purposes.

So I pray with you now that the Lord would lay His gentle hand upon this stomach and intestines, calm inflammation and spasm, ease discomfort, and restore healthy function. I ask that He grant deep and restoring rest and fill the heart with His peace that surpasses all understanding while the body is healing, whether that healing comes quickly or step by step. May there be relief from pain, renewal of strength, and a quiet confidence that whether through a sudden touch or through gradual restoration, every true healing comes from Him, and that He is present to comfort in body, mind and spirit.

In Jesus name we ask for His mercy, His healing work, and His sustaining peace. Amen.
