Reno's pain and fever šŸ˜˜ā¤ļø

Servant of All
Lord, we lift up ### to You right now. You are the Great Physician who knit his body together, and nothing is hidden from Your healing touch. We ask that You place Your hand gently upon his stomach and intestines, calming every inflammation, easing every spasm, and washing away all discomfort and pain.

Bring complete relief to his body, restore the natural harmony of his digestive system, and grant him deep, restoring rest. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding as his body heals.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

We join you in lifting up ### before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing his pain and fever to us in prayer.

We are moved with compassion for his suffering in his stomach and intestines, and we stand with you asking for the Lord's healing touch upon his body. We are reminded that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made, for you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13, and that the Lord is the one who heals us, as it is written, But I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17, and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3.

We also take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him and that He cares for ### in this discomfort. We pray that you will also seek wise medical care alongside prayer, trusting that God often works through the hands of physicians, and that you will help ### to rest, stay hydrated, and be monitored closely while he has fever and pain.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up ### to You. You know his body intimately, every part of his digestive system, and every cause of this inflammation and fever. We ask that You lay Your gentle and powerful hand upon his stomach and intestines, calm every spasm, reduce every inflammation, and ease every pain. We ask that You rebuke the fever and restore his body to its natural harmony and health. Grant him complete relief, deep and restoring rest, and strength to recover. Fill him and those who care for him with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, which will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7, and let him feel Your presence and comfort in this time of weakness. We trust in Your promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15. We ask this in full confidence in the name of Jesus, who is our healer and our hope. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust in the Lord's goodness, for He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We will continue to keep ### in our prayers for complete healing and restored peace.

Thank you for bringing ### before the Lord with such care. Watching someone you love struggle with fever and pain in his stomach is hard, and the worry that comes with it can be heavy. We hear your heart for him and we are standing with you.

We continue to ask the Lord to draw near to ### with comfort, to ease his pain and fever and to grant him deep, restoring rest. We are also praying for you as you walk beside him, for peace and strength while you wait and care for him.

Alongside prayer, if he has not yet been evaluated, we gently encourage making sure he is seen promptly by a trusted medical provider who can assess the fever and abdominal pain in person and advise on next steps. It can be helpful to share with them when the symptoms started and what you have observed.

Please do not carry this alone. Lean on family, friends, or others in your church for support as you care for him. We will keep holding both of you before the Lord in the days ahead, trusting His faithful care even in this uncertain time.

Father, we lift ### to You. You know his body and the discomfort he is feeling. We ask for Your mercy and calming presence over him, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for restored strength and rest according to Your will. Comfort him and those who love him tonight. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We join with you in bringing ### before the throne of grace, and we are moved by your tender intercession for him in this season of pain and fever.

It is a trial to see the body so afflicted, when pain settles in the stomach and intestines and fever wearies the frame. Yet we are reminded that our Lord is the great Physician, and though the earthly physician may be unable to relieve us, His promise still avails, for He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. When Jesus came into Peter's house He saw his wife's mother lying sick of a great fever, and He touched her hand and the fever left her. So still He knows how to lay His healing hand upon the fevered one and to calm the fire within.

We take comfort also that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and to restore what is inflamed and distressed. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, He brings both forgiveness for the soul and mercy for the body.

Let us pray together for him.

Our gracious Father, we bow before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your mercy. You formed ###'s body and knit him together, and nothing in his suffering is hidden from You. We ask You in Your compassion to place Your gentle hand upon his stomach and intestines, to calm every inflammation, to ease every spasm, and to lift from him all discomfort and pain. Rebuke the fever as You once rebuked the fever in Capernaum, and grant relief to his body. Restore the natural harmony of his digestive system according to Your wisdom, grant him deep and restoring rest, and fill his heart with that peace which passes understanding as You work healing within him. Give wisdom to those who care for him, and let him feel Your nearness, that he may know You will never leave him nor forsake him. We ask this not for any merit in us, but through the healing virtue that flows from Christ our Lord. Amen.

May the Lord sustain you as you wait upon Him, and may ### know the quiet confidence of being kept in the hands of the heavenly Physician, who is able both to heal and to keep.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in lifting up ### before the Lord who is the Great Physician and who knows every part of the body He has formed.

We ask our Lord Jesus Christ to lay His healing hand upon ###, to calm the inflammation and spasms in his stomach and intestines, to quench the fever and take away pain, and to restore strength and harmony to his whole body. As the Gospels show, when Christ touched the fevered body He made it whole at once, revealing His divine power to heal. Yet we also remember that He in His wisdom sometimes allows even faithful servants to remain under infirmity for a time, as with Timothy whom Paul counseled to use a little wine for his stomach and his frequent ailments, and to accept the help of medicine with humility and thanksgiving. This teaches us not to be discouraged when healing is not instant, and not to neglect the ordinary means God has provided through physicians, rest, and care.

So we pray for complete relief for ###, for wise care from those attending him, for deep and restoring sleep, and for the peace of Christ to guard his heart and mind while his body recovers. We pray also that through this trial his soul may be strengthened, for God often uses bodily weakness to draw us closer to Himself and to remind us of our need for Him.

We ask all this trusting in the mercy of Christ, who Himself bore our infirmities and who first tasted the medicine of virtue and grace to give it to us.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden for ### and for praying so tenderly for him. I join you in lifting him before the Lord who formed his body and knows every part of his stomach and intestines, and who sees both his pain and his fever.

Scripture shows us that Jesus has real authority over sickness. He healed a leper with a touch, healed at a distance with a word, and when he entered Peter's home he saw his mother in law lying sick with a fever, touched her hand, and the fever left her so that she was able to get up and serve. In the evening many others who were sick or oppressed were brought to him and he healed them. Matthew sees in those healings a fulfillment of what Isaiah foretold, that the Messiah would bear our sicknesses as well as our sins, and when Jesus broke bread he said this is my body broken for you. That reminds us that physical healing is part of what he has provided, and it is right for us to bring our bodies to him.

At the same time the Bible helps us keep a balanced confidence. Sometimes healing comes in a moment and can even be felt as it happens, and sometimes it comes gradually. There is one account where Jesus healed a blind man in stages, the only gradual healing recorded in his ministry, to show that he is not bound to one pattern. Sometimes he touched, sometimes he spoke only a word, sometimes he went to the person and sometimes he healed from afar. Any true healing is from God, even when it comes through the slow and natural processes he built into our bodies. Nature itself is his creation, and the body's ability to mend is a divine provision.

We also see that healing does not come instantly in every case, and that does not mean a lack of faith or hidden sin. Paul prayed for his own thorn in the flesh three times and the Lord had a purpose in not removing it. Timothy was a faithful companion of Paul who struggled often with stomach problems, and Paul prayed for him yet also encouraged him to use a simple physical remedy for his condition. That teaches us not to presume what God will do in every situation, and not to carry guilt when healing is delayed, while still believing that God is able and that healing is for today.

Pain and sickness themselves are part of living in a fallen world. Because sin entered through Adam the whole creation was affected, and our bodies groan and grow weak and know pain as we wait for full redemption. God understands that groaning with a deep compassion. The Bible even speaks of his mercy in terms of the deepest inward feelings, the kind of ache we feel in our stomach when we love someone greatly. He feels that kind of gut level compassion for ### right now.

So we can pray with both faith and peace. We ask the Lord to lay his hand upon ###, to calm inflammation, to ease spasms, to lower fever, and to restore harmony to his digestive system. We ask for relief from discomfort and for deep, restoring rest, and for that peace that goes beyond understanding to guard his heart while his body mends. We also thank God for the wisdom he gives to doctors and for the natural healing processes he has placed in the body, and we ask him to use every good means for ###'s recovery.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring ### before you. You knit him together and nothing in his body is hidden from you. Touch his stomach and intestines, quiet the irritation and pain, cool the fever, and bring ease to his whole system. Grant him relief, strengthen him, give him restful sleep, and fill him with your peace as you work. We trust your power and your love, and we leave the timing and the way of his healing in your wise hands. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for ### and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his pain and fever.

We have continued to lift him up to the Lord as our Great Physician who knit his body together, asking Him to place His healing hand gently upon his stomach and intestines, to calm every inflammation, to ease every spasm, to wash away all discomfort and pain and to bring down his fever. We have prayed for complete relief for his body, for the natural harmony of his digestive system to be restored and for deep restoring rest and peace that surpasses understanding to fill him as he heals. We cling to the promise in Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases and in Jer 30:17 that He will restore health and heal wounds.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought relief from pain and fever and restored ### to comfort and rest, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you.

If his pain and fever do not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying together for his complete healing and strength.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus name Amen.
