Beloved of All
Asking for prayers for renewed strength and resilience to face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, in Jesus name amen

We join with you in lifting up this need for renewed strength and resilience as you face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and find healing and hope.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the abuse and trauma you have endured, and we want you to know that God sees what you have suffered, He does not minimize your pain, and His heart is near to you in it. Scripture tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. What was done to you was evil and not your fault, and the Lord is both your refuge and your avenger, a place of safety where you can find rest for your weary soul.

We know that ongoing struggles can leave you feeling weak and exhausted, as if you have no more strength to continue, but God promises to meet you in that very weakness. He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. He says to us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And He has said to us, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. Your resilience will not come from trying harder in your own power, but from leaning daily on Christ who strengthens you, for I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this precious one to You. Lord, You know the depth of the trauma and the weight of the ongoing struggles, the memories, the fear, the exhaustion that lingers. We ask You to pour out Your renewed strength upon them today. Where they feel faint, be their power. Where they feel crushed, be their comforter and healer. Bind up their wounds, Lord, heal the broken places in their heart and mind, and quiet the lies that abuse has spoken over them with the truth of Your love and Your word. Give them resilience not just to survive each day but to walk forward in wholeness, guard their sleep and give them peace, surround them with safe and godly community and wise counsel, and help them to take each step of healing at the pace You set. Let them feel Your right hand upholding them and Your presence going with them, so they will know they are not alone and not forgotten. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal, and let Your joy and strength be their portion. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every hurt and every weary thought to the Lord in prayer, to stay rooted in His word daily, and to not walk through this healing alone. Seek out trusted, biblically grounded counsel and community, whether a pastor, a mature believer, or a Christian counselor who can walk alongside you with wisdom and care, and allow the Lord to rebuild your strength day by day. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you, and He will carry you through.

We were moved by your honest request for renewed strength as you carry the weight of past abuse and trauma. Thank you for letting us pray with you. What you are facing is heavy, and wanting resilience does not mean you are weak, it means you are looking to keep going.

One thing that has helped others is remembering resilience is not a fixed trait you either have or do not have. It is a process of learning to adapt, often in small steps, and it grows best in relationship. Having even one safe, caring person who listens without rushing you can make a real difference, along with the steady presence of God with you in it.

If it feels possible, we encourage you to reach out this week to one trusted person, a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a safe support group, and let them know you are asking for prayer for strength. You do not have to sort through this alone, and a caring professional can walk with you alongside prayer. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to a trusted person or local support for help.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the pain and the ongoing struggle. Grant renewed strength for today, quiet rest where there has been turmoil, and wise, safe people to come alongside. Guide each next step and remind them they are deeply valued and not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request for renewed strength and resilience as you face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, and we bring it before the Lord with deep compassion and earnest prayer.

The wounds left by such suffering cut deeply into the heart and mind, and we do not make light of the pain you carry. Scripture tells us that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and there is a Physician who can give joy to the troubled countenance, wipe the tear from the eye, and calm the heart now swelling with grief. As it has been said, the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. There is not a word that ever fell from His dear lips but what bears healing for the ills that have befallen our humanity, and that healing is appointed and given for this very purpose.

We pray that you would know the healing power that dwells in Christ, not only to forgive sin but to restore the wounded soul. May the Lord who took our infirmities and bore our sorrows breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace which passes all understanding. May He renew your strength day by day, so that even when you feel faint, you shall mount up with wings as eagles, you shall run and not be weary, you shall walk and not faint. In answer to your prayer, Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, may He preserve you from all evil and preserve your soul, and keep you from the devices of the adversary.

Let us pray together. O gracious Father, we lift up this dear one before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the history of abuse and trauma and the ongoing struggle that remains. We ask that You would pour out renewed strength and holy resilience according to Your abundant mercy. Lay Your healing hand upon the broken heart, bind up every wound, and let the sacred influence of Your Son descend as healing leaves upon this life. Grant quietness of spirit, soundness of mind, and courage for each day. Keep this soul near to Christ, where there is safety and restoration, and let Your Word be a healing draught within. We ask that You would surround this life with wise and godly support and cause Your presence to be felt as the great conduit from which abundant streams of healing flow. This we ask in the name of Jesus our Healer and Redeemer, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to look to Christ and to His Word, for His least words are better than the best of others and they carry healing in them. Bring your burden to Him often in prayer, and seek the fellowship and counsel of faithful believers who can walk beside you. We will continue to hold you in prayer, asking the Lord to establish you in His peace and to make you strong in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
