We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. Father God, You see the pain that lingers, the exhaustion that weighs down the spirit, and the battles that rage within. We stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring that Your strength is made perfect in weakness, and Your grace is sufficient for every trial (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon these broken places, renewing strength where there is weariness and resilience where there is fragility.
The journey through trauma is not one that should be walked alone, and we pray that You would surround this beloved child of God with Your presence, with godly counsel, and with a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer and encouragement. Remind them daily that they are not defined by what was done to them but by who You say they are—beloved, redeemed, and fiercely loved (Isaiah 43:1). May they find refuge in You, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).
We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep this one bound in fear, shame, or despair. In the mighty name of Jesus, we break every chain of oppression and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, courage, and the power to overcome. May they rise up with renewed hope, knowing that You are fighting for them and that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).
Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been stolen—peace, trust, and a sense of safety. Help them to release bitterness and unforgiveness, not because what was done was justified, but because holding onto it only harms the one who carries it. Teach them to cast their cares upon You, for You care deeply for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good, even when the path is dark (Romans 8:28).
We pray for divine encounters—moments where Your love tangibly touches their heart, reminding them that they are never alone. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). And as they walk this road of healing, may they become a testament to Your faithfulness, a light to others who are hurting, and a living example of Your power to restore.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
