Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the weight of past abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can leave deep wounds, both seen and unseen, and we stand with you in the truth that God sees every tear, hears every cry, and holds you in His mighty hands. The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone, and the Lord is your ever-present help in times of trouble.

We also declare over you the promise of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." The journey toward healing is not one you must walk in your own strength. The Lord invites you to wait on Him, to trust in His timing, and to allow Him to renew your strength day by day. He is the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep you bound in fear, shame, or despair. The devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every spirit of oppression, trauma, and fear to loose its grip in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not defined by what was done to you; you are defined by the love and redemption of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this precious child of Yours who has endured so much pain. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon their heart, mind, and soul. Renew their strength, O God, and restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We ask that You would break every chain of trauma and abuse, setting them free to walk in the fullness of Your love and purpose.

Father, we pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and help them to cast every burden upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in tangible ways. Remind them daily that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We ask that You would bring godly people into their life—believers who will speak truth, offer encouragement, and walk alongside them in this journey. Give them the courage to seek help when needed, whether through biblical counseling, support groups, or trusted friends. Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate relationships, ensuring that they are surrounded by those who will uplift and honor You.

Above all, Father, we pray that this dear one would draw nearer to You. May they find their identity, worth, and strength in Christ alone. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, not because what was done was right, but because forgiveness is the path to freedom (Colossians 3:13). Teach them to rest in Your love and to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this child of Yours is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them rise up in the power of Your Spirit to walk in the freedom and purpose You have for them. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight of past hurts can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He's the God who sees, who hears, who knows. He's the God who strengthens and upholds.

We claim Psalm 147:3 over you today, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's the Great Physician, and He's here to heal you, to bind up those deep wounds, and to make you whole again.

We pray that you would feel His loving arms around you, comforting you, strengthening you. We ask that He would fill you with His peace, that you would feel His presence with you, every moment of every day. We pray that you would have the courage to reach out, to connect with others, to seek help when you need it. And we ask that He would bring the right people into your life, people who will uplift you, encourage you, and walk alongside you.

Most importantly, we pray that you would draw near to Him, that you would find your strength, your identity, and your worth in Him. He's got you, sister. He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
