Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for grace to share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1, let it become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having our minds prepared for action, 1 Peter 1:13.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

🙌 Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name

We lift up our hearts in gratitude for the patriarchal and matriarchal figures in our lives, those who have guided, nurtured, and laid foundations of faith for us. Father, we thank You for the grace You have given them to hear Your Word and to walk in it, even as You have commanded us to honor our fathers and mothers so that it may go well with us and we may live long in the land (Ephesians 6:2-3). We ask that You would pour out Your blessings upon them in abundance, providing everything they need for life and godliness, as Your divine power has granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us (2 Peter 1:3).

Lord, we pray for their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. May their souls prosper even as they prosper in health (3 John 1:2). Strengthen them in their inner being so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and that they may be rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:16-19). Grant them wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their understanding may be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), moving from the milk of the Word to the solid food of maturity (1 Corinthians 3:2), and bearing the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father, we ask that You would open their minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45) and that they would crave the sincere milk of the Word so that they may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2). Let Your Word spread rapidly and be glorified in their lives (2 Thessalonians 3:1), and may they not only hear but also do what it says, being effectual doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22). May their lives bear the fruit of true discipleship as they abide in You and Your words abide in them (John 15:7-8), making disciples of all nations as You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

We pray for their protection from all hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver them from evil, as You have taught us to pray (Matthew 6:13), and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). Grant them peace within their walls (Psalm 122:7) and sanctify them in the truth of Your Word (John 17:17). Wash them with the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26) and keep them from the evil one, even as You have not taken them out of the world (John 17:15).

Lord, we ask that You would transform them by the renewing of their minds, that they may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2). Renew the spirit of their minds (Ephesians 4:23) and prepare their minds for action (1 Peter 1:13). May they be established in the elementary principles of Your Word (Hebrews 5:12) and grow up into maturity in Christ (Ephesians 4:15), culminating in love for You and for others (Philippians 1:9-11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in their lives, and may they experience the fullness of Your blessings as they walk in obedience to Your Word. Amen.

We are joining you in praying for these patriarchs and matriarchs, and we understand the deep longing to see them flourish in Christ and be transformed by the renewing of their minds. It is beautiful that you are honoring them not just with words, but by carrying them before the Lord with such care.

Spiritual renewal rarely comes in a dramatic instant. More often, the Holy Spirit works quietly over time, through the slow drip of Scripture, through answered prayers, through the steady love of those around them. The very fact that you are interceding for them is one of the ways God stirs that growth. As you continue, look for small, ordinary ways to express honor this week: a phone call to listen, a note of gratitude for something specific, an act of service that eases a burden. Those gestures become tangible channels of grace that can soften the soil of the heart.

Trust that the God who began a good work in them will be faithful to complete it. Your prayers are not wasted, and your quiet example of seeking transformation in your own life often speaks louder than many words.

Lord Jesus, we lift up these fathers and mothers in the faith, these elders whom You have placed as anchors. Grant them a holy curiosity for Your Word and a deepening hunger to know You. Quiet the noise of the world so they can hear Your voice. Where their minds are stuck in old patterns, bring gentle light and fresh understanding. Protect them from harm and discouragement, and surround them with people who will love them toward maturity. We trust You to renew their minds and cause them to bear lasting fruit. In Your name, amen.

The prayer that hath been poured forth for blessing upon patriarchal and matriarchal figures is a sweet savour, yet let us set this truth as a foundation-stone: all blessing cometh down from the Father of lights, and the path to it is paved with honor toward Him. The Lord saith, “Them that honour Me I will honour.” If you would see fathers and mothers established in grace and made a blessing, see that they honour God first, and see that you yourself walk in that way. A stony heart cannot impart blessing, nor serve as a conduit of heavenly good. It is the renewed mind, the heart of flesh, that overflows.

You plead for the renewing of the mind after Romans 12:2, and well you might. There are eyes within these eyes, eyes of the mind and soul, to which Christ must reveal Himself. No spiritual blessing comes to any man by chance; it is the Spirit’s work to open the understanding, to take away the stony heart and give a heart of flesh. That renewal is not a mere freshening of notions but a transformation that makes a man prove the will of God. The eagle’s youth is renewed by mounting into the upper air, breathing the atmosphere of the skies. So our minds are renewed as we soar by faith into communion with Christ, feeding upon His Word. Crave the sincere milk, move on to strong meat, and let the Word dwell in you richly. Then shall you be a blessing and not a mere hearer who deceiveth himself.

You pray for grace to honour parents, and this is right, the command with promise is not revoked. My father’s blessing or my mother’s benediction I would not treat lightly. Yet far above the blessing of natural parents is the blessing that cometh from walking with God. When a man seeks first to honour the Lord, then the promise “I will bless thee” becomes his portion. And out of that personal blessing flows blessing to his whole house. I believe that wherever parents seek the honour of God, God honours their families. But the order must be kept: get the blessing yourself, then thou shalt be a blessing. If you would have your fathers and mothers established in the faith, first be established yourself. Let Christ dwell in your heart by faith, rooted and grounded in love, and then shall you be a fruitful branch, abiding in the Vine.

You have asked for protection from hurt, harm, and the evil one. This is a needful cry. We are kept not by our own watchfulness but by the intercession of our great High Priest. He that sanctifieth us will also wash us with the water of the Word. As for the mind, let it be prepared for action, sober and fixed upon things above. When the mind is stayed on Christ, that blessed catastrophe sweeps away much that we once valued, and we are renewed day by day, even as the eagle’s strength is renewed by the food it eats.

Desire earnestly the best gifts, but above all covet this: to be blessed of God and to be made a blessing. I charge you, be not content with little grace. Have an insatiable thirst to be a blessing to your household, to this city, to the ends of the earth. The poorest saint can honour God, and the man of least talent can bring glory to His name. Let your life be a testimony. Fight against evil, set up a standard for the truth, and be willing to suffer for His name’s sake. This is the way to prove the will of God.

And now let the double blessing of grace and peace be upon you, grace to honour the Lord in all things, and peace that floweth from the throne. May the God of peace sanctify you wholly, and may the renewing of your mind be so effectual that you are transformed from glory to glory. As for the patriarchal and matriarchal figures you bear upon your heart, let them be washed in the laver of the Word, cleansed from all filthiness and from all idols. The Redeemer cometh to us in our very worst estate; He saith, “From all your idols will I cleanse you.” Oh, that they might find that cleansing! That they might be established in the elementary principles, rooted in love, and made partakers of the divine nature.

Go on blessing God from this hour till the last hour of life, and then enter into the eternal glory still blessing Him. It should be our life to bless Him who gave us life. And as you bless Him, He will bless you, and make you a blessing. The promise is sure: “I will bless thee… and thou shalt be a blessing.” Take it, plead it, walk in it.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you and with all those for whom you pray. Amen.

Your prayer is fervent and filled with the words of Scripture, yet the tongue that utters many verses must also have a mind renewed in the spirit, lest the lips run ahead of the heart. The old man, that pattern of thinking which seeks its own will under cover of holy words, must be put off. How can one put on the new man if the petition itself is a demand that God bend to our wishes, as though He were a servant to our lists of promises? To be renewed is not to recite what God must do, but to be changed in the inner disposition, to love what He loves, and to trust His wisdom above our designs.

You pray for patriarchal and matriarchal figures, and it is a noble thing to honor them according to the commandment. Yet take care that you do not heap upon them an honor that belongs to Christ alone. For even John the Baptist, than whom no greater born of woman rose, would not have men exalt him beyond measure. The nobility of the Church does not consist in titles of patriarch or matriarch, nor do free-born and slave differ; the one thing needful is the mind and the disposition of the soul. If you would truly honor these figures, imitate their faith, not merely pronounce blessings over them, and let your own life be their crown.

Concerning the neighbor whom you endeavor to love, I hear a discord in your request. You ask for peace within your walls, yet you plead that God rebuke and restrain that very neighbor as if he were an evil man. Who gave you the sword? The magistrate is God’s minister to execute wrath, but to you it is said, “Bless those who curse you.” It is not for private persons to call down restraint upon another’s soul, but to pray for their conversion, to do good to them, and to leave vengeance to the Lord. The blind man of the Gospel was not born blind because of his own sin or his parents’; so also this neighbor’s troubling of you may be permitted for a purpose you do not yet discern, perhaps to reveal the glory of God through your patient love. Do not ask that he be hedged in as an evil doer, but that both you and he may be opened to the light.

You desire that God powerfully provide health and prosperity, even as the soul prospers. But examine whether your soul prospers first. For if you seek health and wealth with a greater hunger than you seek righteousness, your prayer smells of the old leaven. Have you not heard that the apostles rejoiced to suffer shame for the Name? The fruitfulness that comes from choice, not from nature, is the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering. This is the prosperity for which you ought to labor. Trust that He who feeds the birds will provide what is needful for life and godliness, but do not measure His blessing by the body’s ease.

You pray for fresh truths, as if the word delivered once for all had grown stale. But the new man is renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator, not by seeking ever-new doctrines, but by growing deeper in the one faith. There is a craving for sincere milk which is good, that you may grow thereby; but many, while professing desire for solid food, chase novelties like children chasing butterflies. Hold fast the elementary principles, and let the word have its perfect work in you, doing, not only hearing. For by doing you prove what is that good and acceptable will of God.

Do not think that by multiplying words in prayer you will be heard for your much speaking. Abide in Him, and let His words abide in you; then your joy will be full, not because every request is granted in your way, but because you are brought into communion with the very life of Christ. Let your mind be prepared for action, your hands ready to serve, your treasure shared for the common advantage. For nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common good, and by this you will bear much fruit, the fruit of true discipleship.

So cease from demanding, and begin to surrender. Put off the old spirit of your mind that seeks to command God, and put on the new, which says, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” Then the peace of Jerusalem will dwell within your walls, and the words of your mouth will be acceptable in His sight.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The desire you bring for those who have gone before you, fathers and mothers in the faith or family, is itself a mark of the Spirit’s work. You are asking that their minds be renewed, that they walk in understanding, and that honor and fruitfulness attend their later years. Scripture holds out rich promises for such a path.

Real fruitfulness begins when we stop leaning on our own understanding and place our entire trust in the Lord. He has given us His Word, and He holds that Word in the highest honor, even above His own great name. So when you pray for these men and women to be established in the foundational truths, you are asking exactly what brings health. As they gain wisdom and understanding from the scriptures, their souls prosper. Length of days, honor, and pleasant paths are in wisdom’s hands. That is not mere sentiment; it is the deep reward of a life built on mercy and truth written on the heart.

The same grace that saves us keeps us growing. We are not called to a gospel of works but to grace from start to finish. Yet grace does not leave a mind fuzzy or empty. Your request for opened eyes and a craving for the pure milk of the Word is exactly the cry of someone who wants to move from milk to solid food. The mind must be renewed so we are no longer governed by darkened thinking, chasing empty things. Instead, the Spirit makes the mind sound, clear, sober, and grounded. Older believers especially are to be solid in faith, solid in love, and solid in patience, adorning the doctrine of God by lives that attract others to Him.

As you pray for them to be kept from the evil one and to have peace within their walls, remember where that protection is found. The Word that sanctifies is the truth. The Lord can rebuke harm and restrain what would undo them while they remain in this world. Their fruitfulness flows from abiding in Christ and His words abiding in them. So let your own confidence grow as well: the grace you are asking for them is the same grace that strengthens you to honor them and to walk in wisdom yourself. Day by day, the knowledge of the Lord multiplies grace and peace, so that none of you will be barren or unfruitful.

Keep trusting the Lord with all your heart, not the flimsy wisdom of the age. His way is for minds to be transformed, for understanding to be sharp, and for the patriarchs and matriarchs among you to be crowned with a life that proves His good and perfect will. The One who gave His own Son for us will certainly supply everything needed for life and godliness.
