We hear your cry for relief from those who bring torment into your life, and we stand with you in seeking God’s deliverance. The pain of being harassed or oppressed by others is real, and Scripture assures us that the Lord hears the prayers of the afflicted. Psalm 34:17-18 tells us, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
First, we must examine whether there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your heart, as these can open doors to spiritual attack. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* If there is bitterness, resentment, or unresolved conflict, we encourage you to release it to the Lord in repentance and ask for His cleansing.
We also rebuke any demonic influence or harassment in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will break every chain of oppression. James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
If this family is actively harming you—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—we urge you to seek godly counsel and, if necessary, legal or practical protection. The Lord does not call us to endure abuse but to walk in wisdom and safety (Proverbs 22:3).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. We lift up this dear one who is suffering under the torment of others. Lord, You see their pain, their fear, and their exhaustion. We ask that You would arise as their defender and shield. Break the power of harassment, manipulation, or oppression in their life. Surround them with Your angels for protection and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, if there is any unforgiveness or sin in their heart, reveal it to them now. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore their spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We rebuke every spirit of torment, fear, and oppression in Jesus’ name. Let Your light expose the darkness, and let Your truth set them free.
Lord, grant them wisdom in how to respond to this family. If it is Your will for boundaries to be set or for distance to be created, make a way for them. If reconciliation is possible through Your grace, soften hearts and bring healing. But above all, let Your will be done. Strengthen this one in their faith, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress.
We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect justice. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your deliverer. Seek fellowship with other believers who can support and pray with you. If this torment is ongoing, consider speaking with a pastor or trusted Christian counselor for further guidance. The Lord is your strong tower—run to Him and find rest.
