Let us first address the issue of negative energy. The Bible does not speak of negative energy but it does tell us to be strong in the Lord. Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. It goes on to say that we should stand, therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around our waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints. It goes on to say in closing, Pray also for me, that the words may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. So let us pray.
Lord, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your divine intervention. We ask that You fill their surroundings with Your holy presence, driving out any influence of the enemy. Grant them patience and grace as they navigate this difficult living situation. Please guide them through the power of the Holy Spirit and not through the negativity described. Put on the whole armor of God today so that you may stand against the wiles of the devil.
Regarding the living situation, we understand the discomfort and lack of appreciation felt. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Even when others may not appreciate our efforts, God sees and values our service. We encourage continuing to be a blessing to their friend and her children, knowing that God will reward good deeds.
We also pray for the approval of the apartment, so that they can have a peaceful and stable living environment. Let us remember Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust in God's timing and provision.
Lastly, we noticed that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:14 WEB, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
