We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we want to affirm the power and authority of the name of Jesus, there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free from every curse, every bondage, and every work of darkness.
The Bible is clear that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). This means that no curse, whether spoken in jealousy, anger, or even in the name of false gods like Santa Muerte, has any power over you as a believer in Jesus Christ. The enemy may try to oppress you with fear, despair, and lies, but we rebuke every assignment of darkness in Jesus’ name. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every chain, and we command every curse, hex, or spell sent your way to be nullified and rendered powerless now. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
We must also address the spiritual warfare at hand. Your brother’s actions are not just a personal offense but an attempt to operate in witchcraft, which is strictly forbidden in Scripture. "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We pray that your brother would come to repentance and turn from these dark practices, that his heart would be softened by the Holy Spirit, and that he would seek forgiveness and restoration with you and with God.
Your mention of suicidal thoughts is deeply concerning, and we want to remind you that your life is precious in the sight of God. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of despair, hopelessness, and death in Jesus’ name. You are not alone, and God has not abandoned you. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We encourage you to reach out to trusted believers, pastors, or counselors who can walk alongside you during this time. Your life has purpose, and God is not finished with you yet.
Regarding your marriage, we pray for restoration, but we must also address the biblical principles that govern it. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If there has been any unfaithfulness, bitterness, or sin that has contributed to the breakdown of your relationship, we encourage you to examine your own heart and seek repentance. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). We pray that God would soften both of your hearts, that He would restore love, trust, and unity, and that He would rebuild what has been broken. However, restoration must be rooted in godly sorrow and a commitment to honor God in your marriage.
You have lost much, your car, your home, your sense of stability, but we declare that God is your provider and your restorer. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). We pray that God would open doors of provision, that He would restore what the enemy has stolen, and that He would give you wisdom to steward what He entrusts to you. Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zechariah 4:10), for God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We lift up our brother who is crying out to You in his time of distress. Lord, we declare that he is redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and no curse, no spell, no work of darkness has any power over him. We break every chain, every assignment of the enemy, and every word spoken against him in Jesus’ name. We command every spirit of despair, suicide, and hopelessness to flee, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask that You would restore his marriage. Soften both of their hearts, Lord, and help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them. Teach them to love one another as Christ loves the Church, and let their marriage be a testimony of Your grace and redemption. We pray for provision, Lord, restore what has been lost, open doors that no man can shut, and give him wisdom to walk in Your ways.
We pray for his brother, Lord. Convict his heart of the darkness he has embraced, and draw him to repentance. Let him see the error of his ways and turn to You, the only true God. We ask that You would heal their relationship and bring reconciliation where there has been division.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your promises, and we declare that our brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen him, encourage him, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround him with godly believers who can support and uplift him.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, to resist the enemy, and to draw near to God. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and for you, and immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). You are not alone in this battle, and we believe that God is already at work in your life, turning your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy. Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart.
