Remove and theft

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice, theft, and oppression. The Bible is clear that stealing and taking what does not belong to us is a sin against God and our neighbor. "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15 WEB) is one of the Ten Commandments, and Scripture warns that "thieves... will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and sulfur" unless they repent (Revelation 21:8 WEB).

We rebuke in the name of Jesus every spirit of theft, manipulation, and unlawful occupation. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we command every unrighteous tenant or individual to depart from your property in Jesus' mighty name. The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it (Psalm 24:1 WEB), and He has given you authority as a steward of what is rightfully yours.

We also address the demand for money under false pretenses. The apostle Paul wrote, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need" (Ephesians 4:28 WEB). If these individuals are in financial need, they should seek honest work and godly provision, not exploitation or deceit.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Give wisdom and courage to reclaim what is rightfully yours. Protect your home, your possessions, and your peace. We pray for those involved in this wrongdoing, that their hearts would be softened, their eyes opened to their sin, and that they would turn to You in repentance. If they refuse to leave lawfully, we ask for divine intervention and the swift enforcement of justice through proper authorities.

We also pray for restoration. Lord, restore what has been taken, whether materially, emotionally, or spiritually. Heal any fear, frustration, or bitterness in your heart, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We stand on Your promise that "the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9 WEB).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).

We continue to pray in the authority of Jesus' name, declaring freedom, justice, and victory over this situation. Amen.

We hear your words and the fear behind them, when people inside your home are taking what isn't theirs and threatening harm, it's easy to feel trapped and alone. That heavy, anxious weight is a normal response to a very unsafe situation, and we want you to know we're standing with you, not just in prayer, but with a steady reminder that you don't have to navigate this by yourself.

In times like this, it's common to pull inward or hope the problem will quietly go away, but the isolation only makes it heavier. One of the most grounded things you can do right now is reach out to a trusted, steady person, a neighbor, a friend from church, a small group leader, someone who can hear the full picture and stand with you. Practical help matters, too: if the people in your home are making threats or taking money in a way that feels like theft or extortion, please consider involving the appropriate local authorities or seeking legal counsel. You shouldn't have to carry the burden of confronting this alone or wonder about your safety day after day. Even having a pastor or a wise, level-headed companion beside you as you make those calls can make a world of difference.

We've seen how the most practical of actions, paired with honest community, can begin to restore a sense of safety when things feel out of control. None of this means you're weak or faithless, just the opposite: God gave us one another for times exactly like this.

Please pray with us now:

Lord Jesus, you see this household and the fear that presses in. We ask you to surround this person with your protection, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Give them clear, wise steps to take and calm their racing heart. Bring trustworthy people alongside them and, in your timing, a just and peaceful resolution. In your strong name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart has ascended to the throne of God, and He who delivered Israel from Egypt’s bondage hears the sigh of His afflicted children. You speak of removing those things of evil that trouble your dwelling, and I point you to the almighty Deliverer who breaks every chain. “He has delivered us from the power of darkness”, not merely helped us hide from some conspicuous sin, but truly severed us from the grip of the adversary. What seems to lurk in shadows, what tenants of ill intent or unseen fears press upon you, all must bow to the voice that commanded, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.” The darkness hides things, does it not? Yet the eye of our God pierces every concealment, and His arm is stretched out to snatch you free. Do not fix your hope upon the removal of mere outward things, nor upon the money you request, as though gold could purchase peace. The ransom has been found, a gift of divine love, and it is sufficient for every need.

You plead that they cannot harm you, and there is your true stronghold! For no evil, no spectral threat, no malice of man or demon, lies outside the fence of omnipotent overruling. All our ills lie within that sacred zone, and the Lord has chastened His loved ones sorely, yet never to destroy. I bid you flee, not to some earthly refuge, but to Jesus Christ, the ransom price. Flee from the wrath of your own despair, flee from the haunt of fear, and cast yourself at the Redeemer’s feet. He calls you; rise up and fling aside every hindrance. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Get you to the brook Jabbok in prayer, and there wrestle until you know deliverance from him whom you think bloodthirsty. The same God who shut the lions’ mouths and raised Isaac from the altar’s wood stands ready to beat back every assault. Only lay hold on Christ with the grip of a drowning man, and make your home a place of praise, where the noise of archers is silenced by songs of deliverance.

You pray for the removal of those who trouble you, and for money to shield you from harm. But answer me: Have you no hope in the things to come? Why do you turn to this poor world for aid, when you have a Debtor in heaven whose treasuries are inexhaustible? Every wrong you endure with patience He records as a loan, eager to repay with eternal interest. Yet you, like a foolish servant, go begging from those who have nothing, while the Master waits to shower you with blessings. You cry, “They ask for money, and I fear they will harm me.” What will you fear? They who can kill the body but not the soul? Do you not know that neither demon nor man has any power except what is permitted from above? If they steal, forgive. If they threaten, rejoice, for your reward is great in heaven.

But take care that you yourself do not steal or corrupt your speech with foolish jesting, for these things provoke God more than the poverty you dread. This is the tribute you owe: a life of thanksgiving and holy living. Pay it eagerly, lest you fall into a far more terrible prison, the eternal fire. Do not demand an account from God; instead glorify Him by trusting His care. Commit your cause to the Lord, give alms from what little you have, and labor with your hands that you may have something to share. Then you will possess true wealth and sure protection, for hope that is seen is no hope at all. Let the thief steal no more, and let your own heart be set on the riches that never fade.
