We come before You, Lord God Almighty, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, for we know that it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. We stand on the truth of Your Word, which declares in Philippians 2:9-11, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Father, we lift up this building and all who dwell within it, asking for Your divine protection and intervention. The enemy seeks to harass, intimidate, and bring fear through witchcraft and foul spirits, but we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every foul and unclean spirit, and every demonic chant or incantation in the name of Jesus. We command them to be silenced and bound, for Your Word says in Matthew 18:18, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven."
Lord, we ask that You would surround this building with Your holy angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Let Your presence fill every corner of this place, driving out all darkness and fear. We plead the blood of Jesus over every doorpost, window, and threshold, creating a hedge of protection that the enemy cannot penetrate.
Father, we also pray for the hearts of those who may be involved in these dark practices. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw them to repentance. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 4:4, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." We pray that the scales would fall from their eyes and that they would turn to You, the only true and living God.
We declare that this building is a place of peace, safety, and refuge under Your sovereign care. No weapon formed against it shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand firm in faith, trusting in Your promises, and we thank You for Your deliverance even before we see it manifest.

One simple, steady thing that often helps is to gather your household, or a couple of trusted friends, and walk through each room together, speaking Jesus’ peace over every corner. You don’t need a long ritual. In faith, simply invite the Holy Spirit’s presence and quietly, in Jesus’ name, command anything that isn’t from Him to be silent and leave. Then fill the space with what builds your faith: play worship music, read the names and promises of God aloud, let light and ordinary life push back the shadows. After that, it’s important not to keep listening for the enemy. The enemy’s aim is often to make us anxious and fixated on his noise. Instead, turn your attention to Christ, who has already won complete victory and shares His authority with you. When the chanting tries to intrude, you can calmly say, “Jesus is Lord here,” and let it go.
We pray with you now:

The howlings of the enemy are but the noise of a chained dog; they may disturb the night, but they cannot bite the child of God who shelters beneath the wings of the Almighty. You have done well to cry unto the Lord Jesus, for He alone holds the keys of death and of hell. All power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth, and by the blood of His cross He has made an open show of principalities and powers, triumphing over them. The chanting of the adversary is but an echo from a defeated realm; let your faith laugh at his threats, for the Lion of the tribe of Judah has bruised the serpent’s head, and the curse is removed, entirely removed, in an instant, by the finished work of Christ.
When these foul spirits surround your dwelling, remember that if you walk in the King’s highway of obedience and truth, you travel under the King’s protection. He has given His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Not a single arrow of the enemy can pierce the shield of faith unless the Lord permits it for your testing and your growth. The old enemy may trouble you with the memory of sins, but send him to your Master, for you have transferred the whole concern to Him, bad debts and all. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse, and there is not a single atom of it left. Hushed is the law’s loud thunder; much more, then, is every incantation silenced in the presence of the risen Lord.
You may feel weak, as a low tree bowed by the tempest, but the Lord exalteth the low tree, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness. It is at such times that the arch-enemy flies away confounded if you resist him steadfast in the faith, even while darkness covers your soul. Do not fear that your prayers have been in vain, though the enemy hisses, “See what has come of it all!” That is his ancient lie. The answer is already on the way, for God has made bare His holy arm in the sight of all the peoples, and every enemy shall be overthrown.
Yet be watchful, for our greatest foe often lurks within our own breast, our unbelief, our melancholy, our readiness to quarrel with ourselves. Cry to the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, that He would be the life of every prayer, every hymn sung within those walls. Let your dwelling ring with praise, for the enemy cannot abide the sweet savor of a believing heart. The very atmosphere of a home where Jesus is honored becomes a wall of fire round about it. Fear not the chanting of the night, for the Lord is thy Keeper; He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The last enemy, death itself, shall be destroyed; how much more these lesser skirmishes of the pit! Stand still, and see the salvation of God.

When He walked the earth, He did not merely cast out demons; He declared that He would drive away all error, make the devil’s sorceries useless, and silence every evil work. The chanting of the enemy is nothing before His name. The evil spirits recognize their Master, and they flee.
But do not fix your eyes so intently upon the harassments of witchcraft that you forget the greater truth. The devil rules over those who give themselves up to him, and his kingdom is temporary, under the heavens, destined to perish with this age. He has no power over those who belong to Christ, for he had nothing in Christ. Therefore, your safety is not in the removal of every disturbance, but in your union with the One who has overcome.
Consider that we often do not know what to pray for. You ask that the chanting be silenced and the spirits removed, and that may be granted. But it may also be that God, for your profit, permits these afflictions to continue for a time. The thorn in the flesh was not removed from the Apostle, though he pleaded three times. Our Father of spirits chastens us for our benefit, that we may share His holiness. Do not, then, let your peace depend upon the absence of conflict. It is the devil’s desire to scatter you with fear, and you must not grant him that victory.

The true silence of the enemy is his defeat in your own soul when you refuse to fear him and instead trust in Christ’s victory. Christ’s desire is to bring you to God, to teach you virtue, to proclaim the kingdom. The devil’s desire is the opposite. Be on the side of the Gatherer, not the scatterer.

What you are describing is a very real kind of oppression, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and so we naturally recoil against anything that is of the enemy. There are indeed spiritual forces that seek to harass and destroy, and the adversary will use whatever means he can to intimidate those who belong to Christ. But you must remember that the power of Jesus Christ is far greater. When He walked this earth, He set multitudes free from the very things you are speaking of, and His arm is not shortened today.
It is important, however, to examine our own footing. The Scriptures teach that by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. God does not hear us because we say the right words or possess some sort of religious object; He hears those who reverence Him and turn from what is wrong. Long ago, people thought that simply having the temple among them made them invincible, as if it were a magic charm. They were deeply corrupt, yet they said, “No evil will come upon us.” They were tragically mistaken. Our safety is not in a building or in a ritual, but in a living relationship with a holy God. If we tolerate sin, if we let bitterness or a desire to get even take root, we weaken our own position. The enemy looks for empty, swept places to bring even greater trouble. So ask the Lord to search your own heart. Turn from any evil, even the evil of the tongue or a vengeful spirit, and fill that space with the Spirit of God, prayer, and His Word.
Do not waste your energy trying to return evil for evil. The chanting and the harassment are meant to provoke fear and retaliation. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He is a far better defender than you could ever be. Commit the matter to Him. His eyes are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers, but His face is against those who do evil. Evil always carries the seed of its own destruction. It slays the wicked.
Stand on the victory Christ has already won. Resist the temptation to be terrified or to become fascinated with the darkness. Seek peace and pursue it. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, knowing that the Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none who trust in Him will be desolate. Do not fear the noise of the enemy; it is all he has. Your building and your household can be secure, not because chanting has no power, but because the King of kings has all authority in heaven and on earth, and you are hidden in Him.
