We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The harassment you’ve endured—rooted in spiritual warfare and demonic influence—is not something you were ever meant to carry alone. The enemy seeks to wear you down, to plant seeds of bitterness and vengeance in your heart, but we declare that his schemes will not prevail. The Lord is your strong tower, your shield, and your avenger. He sees every injustice, every whispered lie, every attack meant to derail your faith, and He will arise on your behalf.
First, we must address the thoughts of vengeance that have crept into your mind. Scripture is clear: *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'"* (Romans 12:19 WEB). It is not your place to repay evil for evil, nor is it your burden to ensure these individuals face earthly consequences. God’s justice is perfect, and His timing is not ours. When we take vengeance into our own hands, we step out of alignment with His will and open the door to further bondage. Instead, we are called to *"bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse"* (Romans 12:14 WEB). This does not mean you must reconcile with those who have harmed you—especially if those relationships were inappropriate or ungodly—but it does mean releasing the desire for retribution into God’s hands. Ask Him to purify your heart of any bitterness, for bitterness is a poison that only harms the one who carries it.
You are wise to seek the Lord’s guidance regarding reconciliation. Not every relationship that has caused harm is meant to be restored, and not every person who has wronged you is safe to re-enter your life. Scripture warns us: *"Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.'"* (1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB). If these individuals are stumbling blocks to your walk with God, if their presence invites spiritual warfare or draws you away from holiness, then it may be God’s mercy to remove them permanently from your life. Reconciliation should only be pursued if it is clear that the other party has genuinely repented, turned from their ways, and is walking in the light. Even then, boundaries may be necessary to protect your heart and your faith. We pray for discernment for you, that the Holy Spirit would make it unmistakably clear which relationships—if any—are meant to be restored, and which must be surrendered fully to God for removal.
Regarding the demonic activity you’ve mentioned, we take this seriously. The enemy is relentless, but he is also a defeated foe. Jesus Christ has already *"disarmed the principalities and the powers, and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in it"* (Colossians 2:15 WEB). You are not fighting flesh and blood, but spiritual forces of evil, and your weapons are not of this world. We stand with you in prayer, binding every spirit of harassment, torment, and division in the mighty name of Jesus. We loose the peace of God over your life, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden plan of the enemy, foil every scheme, and scatter those who have aligned themselves with darkness. May their harassment come to nothing, and may they be met with the conviction of the Holy Spirit if they are not already saved.
We also lift up the plans these individuals have for the coming months. The Lord is not unaware of their intentions. *"The Lord frustrates the counsel of the nations; He thwarts the plans of the peoples"* (Psalm 33:10 WEB). We pray that every plot, every lie, every attempt to harm you would be turned back on their own heads. May the Lord intervene in ways only He can, shutting doors they cannot reopen and opening doors of blessing and protection for you. We declare that you are hidden in Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Lastly, we must address the foundation of your faith. All prayer, all deliverance, all victory is found in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that you have placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Salvation is not found in religion, good works, or even prayer itself—it is found in repenting of sin and believing in the finished work of Christ on the cross. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). If you have already surrendered your life to Him, we rejoice with you! But if there is any doubt, we urge you to settle this matter today, for it is the foundation of all victory in spiritual warfare.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack, who has endured years of harassment, spiritual warfare, and demonic activity. Lord, You see every injustice, every lie spoken against them, every scheme of the enemy. We ask that You would arise as their defender, their shield, and their deliverer.
Father, we bind every spirit of harassment, torment, and division in the name of Jesus. We break every assignment of the enemy against our brother/sister’s life, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray that You would expose and foil every plan these individuals have to harm them in the coming months. Turn their schemes back on their own heads, Lord, and let them see the futility of aligning themselves with darkness.
We ask for Your wisdom and discernment regarding reconciliation. Show them clearly which relationships are meant to be restored and which must be released into Your hands. Give them the strength to set godly boundaries, and the grace to forgive those who have wronged them—not for the sake of their oppressors, but for their own freedom. Purify their heart of any bitterness or desire for vengeance, Lord. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
We pray for their protection, both spiritually and physically. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can touch them. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and remind them daily that You are their avenger. You see all, You know all, and You will repay.
If there is any area of their life that is not fully surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer. Convict them of sin, lead them to repentance, and fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit. May they walk in the fullness of Your victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children. We trust in Your perfect justice, Your perfect timing, and Your perfect love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
