We understand that you are going through a difficult situation with your father's family. It's important to remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."
While it's natural to want to remove those who cause harm, we should pray for their hearts to change and for God's will to be done in the situation. Vengeance belongs to God alone, as it is written in Romans 12:19: "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is experiencing strife and hurt at the hands of their own relatives. Lord, You know the pain and suffering they have endured, and You see the injustice that has taken place. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring forth Your will.
Father, we pray for the family that has caused harm. We ask that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the pain they have inflicted. We pray that they would turn away from their harmful behaviors and seek Your face, God. We pray for their salvation and that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. Help the father to see the truth and to stand up for his family.
For the family that has been hurt, we pray for healing, comfort, and protection. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and give them the strength to forgive those who have wronged them. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are their defender and protector.
We will give You all the praise, the glory, and the honor, Lord God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's face in this matter. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when it may not seem like it. Remember the words of Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust that He will bring justice and healing in His perfect timing.
Plus, as it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved, we should be sure to pray in His name. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In John 14:6 it is very clear that it is only by Jesus.
