Removal of bad neighbors

We understand your frustration and weariness in dealing with difficult neighbors, and we want to lift this burden before the Lord with you. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* While we may desire immediate relief, we must also seek God’s will in this situation, trusting that He is sovereign over all things—even our neighbors.

It’s important to examine our hearts in times like these. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This doesn’t mean we ignore wrongdoing or enable harmful behavior, but it does call us to respond with grace and prayer rather than bitterness or retaliation. Have you considered whether there is any way you can be a light to these neighbors, even in their difficulty? Sometimes, God places us in challenging situations to reflect His love and truth to those who desperately need it.

That said, we also recognize that there are times when boundaries are necessary, and wisdom may require distance or even intervention. Proverbs 22:10 says, *"Drive out the mocker, and strife will go out; yes, quarrels and insults will stop."* If these neighbors are truly harmful—whether through illegal activity, persistent harassment, or ungodly influence—it is not wrong to pray for their removal or to seek godly wisdom on how to address the situation, whether through authorities, mediation, or other means. However, we must do so with a heart that seeks their ultimate good, which is repentance and salvation.

We also encourage you to reflect on whether there is any unforgiveness or resentment in your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Unforgiveness can become a root of bitterness that affects us far more than the actions of others. Let us release this burden to the Lord and trust Him to act justly.

Most importantly, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and burdened by the actions of difficult neighbors. Lord, You see the struggles and the frustration, and You know the depths of their heart. We ask for Your peace to guard their mind and heart in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises. Remove any bitterness, anger, or resentment, and fill them instead with Your love and grace.

Father, we pray for these neighbors. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to their need for You. If they are acting out of ignorance, rebellion, or hardness of heart, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them to repentance. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would remove any harmful influences from this neighborhood, whether by changing their hearts or by relocating them. Give wisdom to our brother/sister on how to respond—whether through prayer, kind actions, setting boundaries, or seeking help from authorities if necessary.

We also pray for protection over this home and this neighborhood. Let Your light shine brightly here, and may Your presence be a hedge of protection against any evil or ungodly influence. Help our brother/sister to trust in You fully, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Finally, Lord, if there is any area of unforgiveness or bitterness, we ask that You would reveal it and help them to release it to You. Teach them to pray for these neighbors as You commanded, and use this situation to refine their faith and draw them closer to You.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He hears and will act according to His perfect will. Keep your heart open to how He may want to use you in this situation, whether through prayer, kindness, or wisdom in setting boundaries. Stay rooted in His Word and in prayer, and remember that even in trials, God is working for your good and His glory.

We're right there with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of having difficult neighbors. It's like living next door to a storm that just won't let up. But remember, even in the strongest winds, we have a shelter in Jesus Christ. He promises in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We're also interceding for those neighbors, asking the Lord to soften their hearts and open their eyes to their need for Him. We believe that God can use this situation to draw them to Him, and we're trusting Him to work in their lives, just as He's working in yours.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open to how God might be speaking to you through this. Sometimes, God allows trials to refine us, to make us more like Jesus. It might be that He's calling you to love your neighbors as yourself (Mark 12:31), to be a light in their darkness (Matthew 5:14-16), or perhaps even to forgive them as you've been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32).

Let's continue to lift this up to the Lord together, trusting that He sees your struggle and is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Keep seeking His face, and remember, you're not alone in this. We're praying with you, and we're here for you. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, our source of strength and peace, no matter the storm.

Please pray that certain bad neighbors would be removed from my neighborhood. I'm really tired of it. Thank you.
Please pray that certain bad neighbors would be removed from my neighborhood. I'm really tired of it. Thank you.

One of my neighbors is a covert malignant narcissist. I'm certain of it. When we first interacted with this neighbor, he seemed very nice but then he started doing things to us (specifically me) that showed that there was something malevolent about him. He has some kind of girlfriend who he invites to his house over the weekend and although I have never expressed any kind of interest in this man and have barely even spoken to him, I started noticing that it was like he was flaunting her in my face every time I would come out of my house. Just now, my parents and I came home from being out and he "just happened" to be walking around the complex with her right where we were at the complex mailbox. And then as he was there with her, my dad (who I notice is very easily used by demons which these narcissists are demonic and under satanic influence) was talking so loudly about how he has a girlfriend now which, again, this neighbor keeps trying to flaunt this in my face so he wanted something like this to happen. My dad was saying all this in earshot of him and he was just standing there and I know he was likely controlling my father through his demonic witchcraft. I'm trying to get better with forgiveness (which I'm still unsure whether I really have a problem with it at all) but, at the same time, there is something wrong with these narcissists especially ones like this neighbor and I'm tired of their targeting and I am praying that I would be protected and defended against them. I'm also tired of their demonic monitoring and witchcraft and people "just happening" to say and do things to me that relate to things the narcissist wants me to know but can't tell me themselves since I am no contact.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your burden before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene in this difficult situation with your neighbors and to bring peace to your home. We know how wearying and discouraging ongoing conflict can be, and we’ve been praying not only for resolution but also for God’s comfort and strength to sustain you in the waiting.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through the removal of these neighbors, a change in their hearts, or even a renewed sense of peace in your own spirit—we would love to rejoice with you. Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together for His faithfulness.

If this trial is still ongoing, we want you to know we’re not giving up. The Bible reminds us to persist in prayer, and we are committed to continuing with you in this. Feel free to post an update or a new request so we can keep interceding, trusting that God hears and will act in His perfect timing and way.

May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding as you lean on Him. We are praying for His protection over your home, His wisdom as you navigate this season, and His presence to be your greatest comfort. Keep seeking Him—He is faithful, and He will never leave you to walk this path alone. In Jesus’ name.
