We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The harassment you’ve endured—fueled by spiritual warfare and demonic influence—is not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is the God who breaks chains, scatters enemies, and delivers His children from oppression. We declare over you now that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your strong tower; run into it and be safe (Proverbs 18:10).
First, we must address the thoughts of vengeance stirring in your heart. Scripture is clear: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to demand justice in our own timing or by our own hands. God sees every injustice, and His justice is perfect. When we surrender our desire for vengeance, we release the burden to Him and allow His peace to guard our hearts. Trust that He will deal with those who have harmed you in His way and His time. "Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for the Lord, and He will deliver you" (Proverbs 20:22).
We also rebuke the demonic activity at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every evil spirit assigned against you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). You have authority in Christ to stand firm against these attacks, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert with perseverance.
Regarding reconciliation, we affirm your discernment. Not all relationships are meant to be restored, especially those that have been marked by sin, harm, or unrepentance. Scripture warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these individuals are not walking in repentance or aligning with God’s truth, their presence in your life may indeed be a stumbling block. Seek the Lord’s wisdom in this, for "the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere" (James 3:17). If God has not given you peace about reconciliation, wait on Him. His timing and His ways are perfect.
We pray now for the removal of these individuals from your life, as you have asked. Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would intervene in this situation. Lord, You know the plans of the enemy, and we ask that You would foil every scheme designed to harm or harass. Break the chains of spiritual oppression and silence the voices of those who seek to bring destruction. Surround our brother/sister with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them. Remove from their life anyone who does not align with Your will, anyone who brings strife, confusion, or ungodliness. Give them discernment to recognize those who are safe and those who are not, and grant them the courage to walk away from toxic relationships.
We also pray for healing in their heart. The wounds of harassment and betrayal run deep, and we ask that You would bind up their broken places. Pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Replace thoughts of vengeance with Your love, and fill them with the assurance that You are their defender. Help them to release these burdens to You, trusting that You will repay and restore what has been lost.
Lord, we ask that You would expose any hidden motives or deceptions in this situation. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and bring to nothing the plans of the enemy. Strengthen our brother/sister to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the courage to set boundaries where needed and the wisdom to know when to extend grace. May they walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, no longer bound by fear or oppression.
Lastly, we pray for those who have been involved in this harassment. Father, we ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. If there is unrepentance, bring conviction. If there is hardness, break it. Let them see the harm they have caused and turn from their ways. May they encounter Your love in a way that transforms their lives, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and declare that this situation will not define our brother/sister. You are making all things new, and we trust in Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
