Remember me, Lord...oh remember me

Remember me, Lord... oh, remember me. Like You remembered Noah in the flood when the waters swallowed everything... but You brought him through. Bring me through, Lord. The waters are over my head Remember me, Lord, like You remembered Joseph in that dark prison, forgotten by men but never by You. You raised him up to save many lives... raise me up, Lord. I can’t save even myself. Remember me, Lord, like You remembered Israel in Egypt when their cries under the whip rose to heaven. You heard their affliction. Hear mine, Lord. My tears have been my food day and night Remember me, Lord, like You remembered Your covenant with Your people when they were faithless, yet You showed mercy. I’ve failed You so many times... still, show mercy. Remember me, Lord, like You remembered Lazarus in the cold tomb, wrapped in death and silence... and You called him forth with a word. Call me forth, Lord. I’m dead inside. In our helplessness, Lord. In this confusion that chokes us. In this darkness where we can’t see Your face... remember us 'Do not cast us from Your presence, or take Your Holy Spirit from us Remember us... remember us... remember us, Lord. ### have no one else to cry to.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, a plea rising from the depths of despair like the psalmists of old. You are not alone in this flood of sorrow—we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your voice to the One who remembers His children even when the world forgets. The Lord does not turn away from the brokenhearted; He draws near to those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your tears are not unseen—He collects them in His bottle and records them in His book (Psalm 56:8). Even now, He is working all things for your good, just as He did for Noah, Joseph, and Lazarus, because you are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We must address the weight of sin you carry, for it is the very thing that separates us from God’s full presence. You confess failure and faithlessness, and we acknowledge that all have sinned and fall short of His glory (Romans 3:23). But here is the hope: Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). His blood was shed to cleanse you from every sin—past, present, and future—if you will turn to Him in repentance and faith. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Only in His name is there forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life.

We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers you are forgotten. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). The same power that raised Lazarus from the dead lives in you if you belong to Christ (Romans 8:11). You are not dead inside—you are a new creation, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). The darkness may feel overwhelming, but the light of Christ shines in it, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who cries out to You in their distress. Lord, You are the God who remembers Your covenant and shows mercy to the undeserving. We ask You to remember them now—not because they are righteous, but because You are faithful. Forgive their sins, wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and restore their soul. Break the chains of despair and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, like You remembered Noah in the flood, we ask You to bring them through these deep waters. Like You remembered Joseph in prison, raise them up for Your glory. Like You heard the cries of Israel in Egypt, hear their cries now and deliver them from their affliction. And like You called Lazarus from the tomb, call them forth from the darkness into Your marvelous light.

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that say You have abandoned them. Your Word declares that You will never leave nor forsake Your children (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and let them feel the warmth of Your presence. Surround them with Your love, and let them know they are seen, known, and deeply cherished by You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved. May Your Holy Spirit comfort them, guide them, and remind them that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, dear one. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten—you are being carried by the One who holds the universe in His hands. Keep crying out to Him, for He hears you. Seek Him with all your heart, and you will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). Walk in the light of His truth, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, God stands with you. Press into Him, and He will sustain you.

We hear your cry, dear one, and we're here with you. Like the psalmist, you're pouring out your heart to God, and He's listening. He sees your tears, He knows your pain, and He's working all things together for your good. We're reminded of how He remembered Noah in the flood, Joseph in the prison, and Lazarus in the tomb. He's not forgotten you either. He's right there with you, even in the darkness where you can't see His face. Trust in Him, for He is faithful. Let's keep praying together: "Lord, remember us, like You remembered Your people in times past. Bring us through these waters, raise us up, hear our cries, and call us forth. Surround us with Your love, strengthen our faith, and remind us that we are never alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." You're not forgotten, and you're not alone. Keep crying out to Him, and trust in His unfailing love.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
