REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE

We noticed your prayer right away and we have been holding you before the Lord since we read it. Asking God to keep you safe now and to bring you to the better side when you die is such an honest and tender prayer, and God hears that kind of honesty.
We want you to know you are not alone in carrying this fear. Many people quietly wonder about what comes after death and whether they will be safe. Bringing that worry directly to God, as you did, is the right place to bring it. He is not distant from that fear and He welcomes you to keep talking to Him in the same simple, direct way you did here.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Beloved of All
Your simple and sincere prayer has been heard and we will indeed remember you before the throne of grace. There is a holy longing in your words, a desire not only for safety in this life but for safety when you pass through the valley of death, and for a portion on the better side.
Know this, that true safety is found in one place alone, in Christ Jesus the Lamb. The Scripture says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. The way of salvation is so simple that it may be set before you in a single sentence, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not by our own goodness or our own prayers that we are kept, but by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to rest your whole weight upon the sacrifice He offered upon Calvary.
You ask to be kept safe always, even when you die. There is only one keeping that endures beyond the grave, and that is to be kept in Christ. He that feeds His people in Heaven is the very Lamb who was slain for sinners, and though Heaven adores Him, He is still as compassionate and condescending as He was in the days of His flesh. To be safe in death is to belong to Him now.
And when you speak of the better side, let me tell you what that better side truly is. Heaven must be in us before we can be in Heaven. The chief blessing of Heaven, the cream of Heaven, the Heaven of Heaven, is that the saints shall there see Jesus. Heaven is not merely a better place than this sorrowful world, it is to be where Christ is, to see His face, to drink of the living water at the fountain head, to know God fully enjoyed. The very flesh and blood that suffered upon Calvary is in Heaven, and the hand that was pierced with the nail now grasps the scepter of all worlds.
If you would be sure of that better side, look now to Jesus. Trust Him now, while you are yet in the wilderness, and you may even here taste the clusters of Eshcol. Being born from above, you become the same person that will be in Heaven, for Heaven can come to you before you go to Heaven.
We pray for you in this manner:
O gracious Father, keep this soul by Thy power through faith. Reveal Thy Son to this seeking heart, that by Divine Grace there may be a simple trust in the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. Grant first love and first delight in God even now, and give full assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Keep this one safe in life and in death, not by merit but by the blood of Jesus, and at the last bring this one to see Thy face and to dwell by the well forever. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only hope of salvation. Amen.
