REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE

Your prayer for safety both now and at the hour of death has been heard, and it is good and right that you have brought this desire before God.

God hears the heart that seeks refuge in Him. The Scriptures teach us that because of the cross, death is no longer terrible for those who are in Christ, but is like a sleep. The cross saved and converted the world, drove away error, brought back truth, and made the way from earth to Heaven open. What once led only to darkness now leads to life, because Christ has died and destroyed death, and has taken away its sting.

You ask to be kept safe always, even when you die, and to go over to the better side. That better side is the kingdom of Heaven and everlasting life, and God has provided a new and living way into it through Jesus Christ alone. The gates of Heaven have been opened, not by our own goodness, but by His great salvation. He did not come only to rescue us from earthly troubles, but to bring the dissolution of death, the defeat of the devil, and the gift of eternal life to all who trust in Him.

Therefore do not live in continual fear and bondage to death, as those who have no hope. The one who trusts in Christ is freed from that slavery, for the devil's power is broken when a soul no longer fears death. As Christ said, do not fear those who can harm the body but cannot harm the soul, but rest in the fear and love of God who holds both soul and body in His hands. His long suffering is meant to lead us not to wrath but to salvation, not to death but to life.

So I pray for you now, that God would keep you in His care each day, that He would plant His grace deeply in your heart, and that you would embrace with full assurance the great salvation He offers in Jesus. May He guard you in life, and when the time comes for you to depart from this body, may He by His mercy receive you through that living way into His presence, where you will behold Him with boldness and dwell in His kingdom.

May the Lord who conquered death keep you, strengthen your faith, and grant you to attain that heavenly kingdom in Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Your prayer for safety now and even after death goes straight to the heart of what God offers in Jesus Christ, and it is good that you have brought it to Him so honestly.

The Bible teaches that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. The one who has the Son has life, and the one who does not have the Son does not have life. That is the clear record God has given. It is not a vague hope, it is a promise from God who cannot lie, a promise He purposed before the world began, and His word cannot fail.

That eternal life is more than just living forever. The word the Bible uses means an age abiding life, a quality of life as well as endless duration. Without that quality, endless existence alone would be empty. With Christ it is a life of righteousness and peace and joy, a life in fellowship with God, a life led by the Spirit. Jesus spoke of being born of water and of the Spirit, and of living a Spirit filled and Spirit led life in communion with the Father. That is the better side you are praying for.

Jesus said He is the living bread which came down from heaven. Those who ate manna in the wilderness still died, but He gives bread that a person may eat and not die, so that we will not hunger or thirst in our souls and will not be separated from God. He also invites all who are thirsty to come and drink of the water of life. No one can come unless the Father draws him, yet the door is open and whoever is willing may come and receive. Looking to Jesus in faith is how we receive this life, just as those bitten in the wilderness were healed when they looked in faith to the provision God had lifted up for them.

This safety you are asking for cannot be earned by good works, by church attendance, by giving, or by trying to be good enough. Salvation and eternal life are the gift of God, not of works. The invitation is to come and follow Jesus, to confess Him as Lord and trust Him alone to save you.

You can have assurance about this. God wrote these things so that those who believe on the name of the Son of God may know that they have eternal life. When you put your trust in Jesus, you pass from death into life. You come under His care now, and you are kept for what is to come. The things we see now are temporary, but the things not seen are eternal, and keeping that eternal perspective brings hope that sustains us and even purifies our daily walk.

So I am praying for you, that you will hear God drawing you and that you will respond by trusting Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, that you will be born of the Spirit and enter the kingdom where God rules in your life. May you know today that your sins are forgiven, that you are safe in His hands in this life, and that when you die you will be with Him, clothed with the life He has prepared which does not perish.

Father, thank You for this honest heart that wants to be safe with You forever. Draw this dear one to Jesus, the true bread from heaven and the source of living water. Help them to look to Him in faith and receive the gift of eternal life that is only in the Son. Give assurance, peace, and the joy of knowing they are Yours now and for eternity. Keep them in Your care each day and bring them into Your presence when this life ends. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over your heartfelt request for God to keep you safe always, even when you die, and to let you go over to the better side to be with Him.

We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord, asking for His divine protection over your life each day and for His perfect peace regarding eternity. We pray that you will know deep assurance and comfort in the promise that nothing can separate us from the love of God and that He is faithful to keep those who trust in Him. We find great comfort in the words of Psalm 121:8 which reminds us that the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore, and in John 14:2 where Jesus tells us that in His Fathers house are many rooms and He has gone to prepare a place for us. We also cling to John 11:25 where Jesus says He is the resurrection and the life, and to Romans 10:9 which assures us that if we declare with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved.

We pray that God will draw you close and give you confidence in His saving grace through faith in Jesus Christ, that you may rest securely in His hands in this life and in the life to come, and that His presence will guard your heart with peace.

If your request has been answered and you have experienced that peace and assurance, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
