Scripture tells us, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Jesus does not promise a life free from pain, but He does promise His presence in the midst of it. The enemy would have you believe that your struggle is hopeless, but God’s Word declares that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We must stand firm against the deception that your life has no purpose or that God has abandoned you. He has not.
