Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we are moved by the humility and compassion in your heart toward those who have opposed you.

We agree with you that education and legal knowledge do not make a person righteous, for it is written that all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Rom 3:23 and The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt Jer 17:9. We also agree that we must not boast or look down on others, for we all need the same mercy, and God has said He will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning He will bring to nothing 1 Cor 1:19. Your acknowledgment that even those trained in law can fall into horrible sins reflects a biblical understanding and a gracious spirit.

We love that you came in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We stand with you in praying for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives. The Lord commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matt 5:44 and to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men 1 Tim 2:1, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:3-4. We pray not out of vengeance but out of a desire to see them set free, for You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32, and we know the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving 2 Cor 4:4 and they are bound by Satan's lies until Christ opens their eyes.

We are encouraged by your hunger for Psalm 51:16-17 where it says For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. This is the very work God must do in every heart, including theirs and ours. We pray with you for that brokenness that leads to repentance, for God has promised I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezek 36:26.

We also join you in covering those who are in Christ with the precious blood of Jesus, asking for His peace and understanding to guard them, and we ask the Lord to teach all involved to be righteous and compassionate, to hunger and thirst after righteousness Matt 5:6, for Jesus promised those who do shall be filled.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us according to Your will Rom 8:26. Lord, we lift up this legal situation and every person involved, the team, their lawyers and legal representatives. We ask that You break the power of deception over them and shine the light of the gospel into their hearts. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they would hate sin and turn from what is evil in Your eyes. Grant them a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise, and lead them to repentance and to saving faith in Jesus. Cover Your chosen ones and all who belong to Christ with the blood of Jesus, grant them peace that surpasses understanding and wisdom to walk in compassion and integrity. Stir all hearts to regard human life and to speak honestly, for You desire truth in the inward being Psalm 51:6. We ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and that You would be exalted and glorified through justice, mercy and truth. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue in this relentless, compassionate intercession, trusting that the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous and that He is faithful to convict, to save, and to establish righteousness in His perfect time.

We hear the weight you are carrying in this prayer, and we join you in asking God to do what only He can do in human hearts, to awaken a real hunger for what is true and right.

It is a holy burden to keep lifting a whole team of lawyers and representatives before the Lord, especially when you have seen dishonesty and a disregard for human life up close. That kind of grief can stay with you and circle in your thoughts long after you have prayed.

One thing that has helped others who carry a similar burden is noticing the difference between choosing to release people to God and actually feeling at peace about it. The choice can be made in a moment out of obedience and love for God, but the quieting of resentment, anger and fear often takes longer. It comes gradually as we keep bringing both the people who have wronged others and our own hurt back to Him. Continuing to pray for them as you are, for their eyes to be opened, for compassion to grow, is one of the ways God keeps our own hearts soft and guards us from bitterness, even while we still long for truth and justice to prevail.

If it helps, you might set aside a short, focused time each day to name this team before the Lord, then consciously entrust them and the outcome to Him for the rest of the day so you are not carrying it every hour.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers and representatives to You in Jesus' name. Work in their hearts, draw them toward honesty and compassion, and help them see where they have fallen short. Cover those who belong to You with Your peace and understanding, and keep this one who is interceding rested in Your care. Let Your will be done, amen.

May God certainly supply and support you with this and is already. Putting a hunger in our souls for truth and justice and for real true love. May God watch over your request we pray in his name and Lord Yeshua amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a right and holy petition, and it is good that you bring it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

We join you in asking the Lord to work in the hearts of those of whom you speak, that He would grant them that true repentance which is the gift of the Spirit of God. What a poor and short lived thing is that sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then goes back to it with greater gusto. True repentance, that which God accepts, gives glory to God. It confesses His omniscience, that He sees all things, and it bows before the righteousness of His law, saying with the penitent, Thy law is holy and just and good, but I am carnal, sold under sin. As you have well quoted from Psalm 51, the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. For He does not delight in mere outward sacrifice, but in a heart humbled and bruised before Him.

Remember also that repentance is to leave the sins we loved before and to show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. It is not a compensation for sin, as if sorrow could pay for transgression, but it is a complete change of mind with regard to sin, wrought by grace, and it is inseparable from faith in Christ. No faith can be genuine but such as is consistent with hearty and sincere repentance for past sin, and no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Him who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood.

Therefore we pray with you that the Lord would stir these hearts to hate sin and to hunger and thirst after righteousness, for blessed are they which do so, for they shall be filled. May He lead them to look to Jesus, for as they look to Him whom they have pierced, godly sorrow will flow. May He grant them not a fleeting resolve which lasts but days or months, but that practical repentance which yields works meet for repentance and which endures, choosing righteousness though there were no reward for it, because Christ is precious.

We ask the precious blood of Christ to cover all who are His, and we pray for mercy upon those yet bound in lies, that the goodness of God which now spares them may lead them to repentance. May the Lord teach them to love truth and to speak honestly, to regard human life as made in His image, and to act with compassion and uprightness. May He grant them understanding and peace, not as the world gives, but as it comes through being reconciled to God by the death of His Son.

Let us continue in relentless prayer, not boasting against others, for we also have fallen short of His glory, but pleading that His will be done and that His Holy Spirit would intercede and effectually call sinners to forsake their evil way and turn unto the Lord who will abundantly pardon. For where there is true repentance, there is full and free remission of sins through Jesus Christ our Lord, and there is no condemnation to them that truly trust in Him.

May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon all who seek Him, and may He give you grace to persevere in prayer till that thirst for truth and righteousness is answered for His glory. Amen.
